If anyone wants the high res of that image, just PM me your email address!

the one I have on my computer is twice the size of that. you can really see the detail on the high res one

photobucket shrunk it down on me, so the one posted in this thread is only half the size of the full one.

Blackout is made of pure awesome.

He looks exactly like he should, given his function(taking out our[human] ways of communication). Frankly, if I want someone to take out communications for my enemies, I'd want someone that A ) deals with EMP's or B ) is totally monstrous looking to keep my enemies awestruck before they can deal with it. Blackout is the best of both worlds!

I as big of a transformers fan as I am a joe fan

I have every transformer American release from the fist year back in the 80s right up to Robots in disguise

I have 90 percent of all Japanse releases of the same years and 90 percent of all european releases of the same year too

so Transformers are as big to me as JOE

and I love the direction the movie is taking!

Ugh, they just look like giant mechs that ripped off the Terminators design.

Oh well, it's not like I was expecting anything good to come from this movie, they've just Beast Machined it for me......

Message to Hasblo: stop ripping off your ideas from other movies.

Remember the first Transformers movie?

Remember when the critics panned it, dubbing it a "Star Wars Rip off"

Well this one is heading in the same direction, only they'll be dubbing it a Terminator rip off.

Okay, I don't like the design of Blackout, but he is a new character so that ain't really saying anything about theclassic forms of G1. Now, if they give that type of treatment tothe mega characters like Screamer or Megs, well, I just hope the Classics line will be a collector's line to co-exist with this.

EDIT: Okay, I just saw the other thread and yeah, Hasbro lost me for support on this line. Here's hoping that the Classics line will be like the Alts, a line to appeal to the collector/older fans while the kids get the crap line.

I've noticed that the people who like it are mostly Joe-fans ;)

I could care less about GI Joe. This TF is just slaggin' awesome. The best stuff I've seen since Beast Wars.

Would be funny if your Michael Bay and is here just to pump your movie or whatever.

I wouldn't really call these ripoffs; the designs are similar to transtech, which would've been released..what, 5 or 6 years ago? There are of course some elements of other futuristic vehicles, but they've been built on.

Just as a robot on it's own it looks pretty baddass, but I just don't feel it as a transformer. A bit too complicated/kibble and has hardly any resemblence to it's alt mod in bot form.

To each their own I guess, some like it some hate it. Personally I never cared for Beast Machine or Transtech designs, but as long as the story itself is good I'll try to enjoy the movie.

I like it. I was expecting this movie to be nothing like the cartoons, so I was prepared for this.

honestly....i like him and i love the choice of alt mode. he looks freaky like a decepticon should look. i wish that the faces were a little more filled out. they tend to be camo'ed in with the rest of the bot making it too hard to see.

I can't wait to see full color pics of the robots in their final designs. I'm not perticularly fond of Starscream(as I've said before) but from the rest that I've seen its pretty cool. Bumblebee looks odd, and Prime is a little akward, but Blackout looks really cool. He seems like a terrifying Decepticon.
