I know what you mean, they're some of the best wip's I've seen.

here's his thread over at fwoosh: http://www.thefwoosh.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10572

Yup, I'm caught up on most of my comics, I'll update my sig over the weekend with the additions I've added.

Fraktur (She) is a new centurion member who joined in #18. She's also the cousin of Fin Fang Foom.

I'm really lucky with the customs I've been getting by some of the best and also by some of the best new up-coming customizers.

After all the customs that are in the works or pre-paid (dustin, Levit05, grasshopperis, zombie13, TFMANIAC, Sam, CaptainRon, raynir, and stef) are done, I'm gonna stop for a while as my figure collecting/custom money is getting really low and I need to save it up again. I had all this money from my 1st two teen jobs from 01'-03'.

I got new pictures of Black Tom Cassidy from M2K so here's the pics:

Not completely done, but I promised you pictures so I wanted to make sure i got these to you.

Okay, pictures are a bit weird, i'll try and take better ones tomorrow. the first ones are pretty accurate in how the drybrushing and the finish looks but are a bit blurry. In the last few the drybushing and shinyness is really exagerated.

I'm going to fine tune the drybrushing a bit, maybe do a dark wash yet, and clean up some things. completely finished pictures will be up for you in a day or two, along with pictures of Toad pre-painting.

You're saying this is all paid for by money you made back then? Wow....i could never save that well, haha. What do you do for work nowadays?

I always love seeing Levit's Wips, and this time is no exception...he does excellent work, and you made an awesome choice with him for this particular custom.

Yup, and only very few commissions where paid from with money from these days. Somehow back then I didn't spend alot of money. I work for my dad's company, but with how the economy is going I'm looking for a 2nd job.

I know what you mean. His work is some of the best work, Actorjez recommended him when I wanted to get a Phalanx stomper from Annihilation: Conquest.

Phalanx Stomper is a big character so another reason why I need to save again. Base figure will be the 18" SM2 with more extentions.

Here's that updated list and I think I somehow forgot some:

Dustin - all

MyCustomWishlist-Part1.png

Dustin, TFMANIAC, stef:

MyCustomWishlist-Part2.png

Oh, yeah I forgot to put that I supplied the parts for customs dustin's doing:

Current X-Factor Monet to Sentry, Exiles Longshot, BAF Atlas, Gladiator.

When I supply the parts it makes the prices significantly less.

Dude, that list is officially insane :D

By the way, got the figure in the mail today, my very first OPC. Very cool, that was a Dustin one, right? Its very interesting to see how the "pros" do it....some things i might start doing, some choices I wouldnt agree with....cool perspective. Has he ever said what kind of finish he uses on his figures? Cause I like that texture its got, and seems pretty rock solid.

Yeah, it's pretty much dustin with stef & TFManiac thrown in. It'll take a some years.

Great, did the spear make it? @?@

Yeah, one of dustin's paint styles from 07'. He's changed his style around again in late 07'-early 08'. Now it's a completely smooth feel. I have a pm with the kind of paints he uses if you want to know. I do like his old style, just sometimes it seemed alittle rushed but I didn't mind.

PM from May 08'

I'm using mainly Citadel paints now for bright colors. They take fewer coats and they blend more smoothly. I'm really into Tamiya's metallic colors too. Last year my style was kinda severe, especially in the shading. In the past couple of months I've been figuring out how to use a broader range of colors, matte and gloss finishes and better finishing on the sculpt to create the same visual interest but with a smoother look.

A update from stef,

"Exiles" King Hyperion:

"Exiles" Hyperion II:

Symthe has more to go. The Hyperions are close, one mistake on King is he shouldn't have the old stomach design so stef will fix that.

I use citadel paints too, i may havta send him a message to see exactly what he uses for the finish though, I've been using Testors Dullcote but sometimes it works awesome and some times not so much.

I got finished pictures of Ares from dustin. Now he's working on the base for him. The Alternate head represents his look from Dark Avengers, we just went off some covers.

I put together an accurate axe from Conan's axe with a sai tip for the spike. The alternate head came from Zangief. I just got my Rulk from BBTS and thought I could use his base for Ares. I'll whip up some Moloid parts and a dinosaur jaw from epoxy and top the base with some green blood. Hope you like him so far. I'd love to make a Darkhawk. I always dig characters with helmets.

Tigershark:

TigersharkCustom3-1.jpg

TigersharkCustom3-2.jpg

Info:

-Hyperion II had his wristbands sanded and filled and his head lowered.

-King Hyperion had the stomach design removed and filled since it was inaccurate.

-Namora is pretty finished, just needs her toes.

-Bi-Beast still needs work done. I think the hands may be from Pitt.

-Alistaire is almost finished, he's going to change the spikes.

-Tigershark is finished. He was suppose to be taller but I think stef wasn't sure what I meant. I wanted the original shins with part of Thor's boots so he would be taller, but I think he's the same height since Frankenstein was short. But I don't mind since he did alot of work on his legs already.

Yeah, I wanted to use Mattman's recipe. It's the only Bi-Beast I've seen with the 13" movie Hulk. Sounds good, I want to see your take on the character.
