Was bored last night and couldn't sleep until 6am so I did a few mock-ups to give a idea of the looks of a few of the customs I'm getting.

Oh, forgot this, Vath Sarn from DangerDrVenture. He's taken a long break so I'm hoping to finish the rest that he owes me and just stick to Ibentmyman-thing for lantern customs.

 

 

 

And early pics of Sinestro by lesternessman. Gonna use Abin Sur parts with Sinestro's chest, but we're waiting on Deadman abs so that Sinestro will be tall.

Thanks, just having fun part-swapping as always. Sadly, there's been a lack of custom making from the guys (taking breaks), but that'll change at least with Ibentmyman-thing & lesternessman doing more lanterns.

I have been watching your thread for a few years now, but never commented. I just wanted to say how amazing the collection you have been building is. I have seen that you have been selling off major parts of your collection. Makes me both sad and happy. Sad to see parts of you collection go, but happy for the opportunity to own some of the amazing pieces you have. Hope things for you are well.

Update from Dustin, "Bleeding Edge" Armor Iron Man & the beginning of Iron Patriot.

Info:

-Iron Man is assembled and ready to paint.

-He added pinheads on tiny cylinder-things for some of the lights so the detail would be as crisp as possible.

-He also reworked the lower back to match how it looks in the comics.

-And of course all the joint pins are sealed over.

-He's gonna re-do the unmasked Stark (HML 2-pack) head's hair to match the comic better.

-He's done some basic sculpting on Iron Patriot too but nothing too exciting yet.

Finished pictures of AOA X-Man from TFMANIAC. Glad to see more get done after such a long break. Next up will be Shadow-Woman from when she fought along with American Eagle & Steel-Spider against Thunderbolts.

My $5 + $5 shipping Copco Non-Skid 3-Tiered Cabinet Organizer came today. It was pre-used but in great condition.

 

It said it was a 15" wide but it ended up being a 28" wide:

 

 

 

 

 

Just got my 5-pack Guy Gardner. It's nice but I don't like the head, and it's kind of big. Gonna have a custom-made head done. Only other thing bad is that the logo is chipped. I can fix that with a modern logo stamp/sticker.

 

I should have my Bleez, Blue Hal, Miri Riam, and Lex Luthor on Friday.

Four of my lanterns came, so here's a shot, I'll take a display shot later today:

 

 

Bleez is better than I expected articulation wise, she's got the single joint mid-wing but she also has a ball joint where the wings meet her back.

Lanterns all look great except for MiriRiam, the colours are not right, I thought she was an Indigo Lantern with the colours used

Her colors are actually right, for a good portion of blackest night, her costume was a different color from Carol & Fatality.

 

Indigo's are a lighter purple blue.

Yeah it does seem like Miri Riam's colors are off somehow maybe it could have been a more shiny or pinkish purple. Otherwise some nice customs, Bleez is just perfect, she's actually #1 on my wishlist of lanterns for DC Direct to do: her and Tekik.

Here's a somewhat better picture, god my camera sucks. Miri is a little slightly more purple than Carol. But Carol ended up being darker than I hoped but it's fine. Indigo-1 is a more lavender color.
