Info:

He got ahead of himself with Sentry and finished him up.

-The cape is double-sided leather with a wire for poseability.

-He used some magic sculpt to blend it into his collar.

-Not my ideal size for Sentry, but he looks good for Dark Avengers.

 

 

Mongul update from dustin, just pics with others for new height size.

-He's gonna be seriously huge.

-Good idea lengthening the legs.

-The bands and armor should be fun to sculpt.

Info:

-Sentry with the cape and collar fixed.

-He was able to remove the wires from his collar, shorten them, remove some leather from the front, and seal the wires back in the cape so the front is straight rather than curved.

 

 

Small update to Mongul's waist, more height since his waist will be widened a little to make up for the height added and plus a belt goes there.

Sentry looks fantastic!!!! Man, that picture of custom Mongul to DCSH Mongul builds a good case about making a BAF, oops, i mean CnC Mongul. But your custom way is the coolest way to go.

The offical finished update of Flash "Blue Lantern" from Ibentmyman-thing:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Info:

-The blue parts are silver coated in clear blue, his black parts are also all coated with a coat of clear blue, which gives him a two-tone bluish appearance when the light strikes him just right, which faintly emulates a blue corona of energy. Camera doesn't really pick it up well at all.

 

-He sculpted the raised symbol on his chest. Took a few tries to paint the symbol right. Cut out the lightning bolt and painted it bluish-white and glued it on top to emulate the raised 3d lightning bolt he has in the comic.

 

-He also tried to give the hint of the Blue Lantern symbol in his ring. That didn't come out so well. There's a faint trace of it but the paint washed out a lot of the detail.

After reading the double dose of GL yesterday, I'm back to wanting to to a better Saint Walker, so I might start him this weekend.

Anytime you post a list of what you've got going, it makes me wanna do more....I'm not planning any of the deputites, but i would like a Raker, Laira, Kehaan, etc. If i can find a DCD Alpha Lantern Boodikka for cheap, then I'd consider doing her too. Its a nice looking figure, just needs articulation.

 

Started Saint Walker last night....once you get the DCD parts onto the Avatar body, thats one skinny little bastard, haha.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Getting the deputies because most of them are repaints, and the rest aren't too difficult. But yeah, fitting out the actual lanterns will be fun. I like the boodikka but she'll need a lot of work. I'm wondering if I should have Larfleeze modified for dcuc hips or just keeping him as is.

 

For WW, just gonna get the dcd series 6 one. It looks flawless other than the hips.

Yeah, MK's is mainly the look we're going for, probably no trim like Flash.

A friend of mine gave a DCD Lex Luthor since he noticed I needed/wanted a DCSH Luthor for a orange repaint.

 

 

I think it'll work actually, it has a good amount of movement for a DCD figure.
