Power Team @ Big Lots in a BIG way!!

I stopped in a Big Lots today and almost fainted! They have almost a WHOLE aisle filled with Power Team Elite goodies!

 

I picked up 10 of the Military Life bunkbed sets, 20 of the Desert Horse sets, 10 camel sets, a few Camp sets (with Lean-to) and a few Camping Tent sets. They had a lot of vehicles from Power Team. also, like the F/A 18 Hornet Jet, Humvees, Covered Trucks and Helis!

 

On the Chap Mei side of things, we have Soldier Force, the almost-unarticulated line with some great vehicle custom fodder. They have a zillion little bits that could bolster your customized base and/or vehicle. Troop Carriers, Trucks, Planes... (Two things I was looking for but couldn't find was the Transport Helicopter seen here...

I need 2 of those Rocket Haulers! Sweet!

 

ALSO, they had the full line of Pirates figures with Boats, Rafts and lots of cool booty. It's not my theme, but it is definitely cool stuff!

lol, I was just gonna post.. I stopped by one to see what Chap Mei stuff they got in, nothing cool, a couple Soldier Force V stuff, some cool ones I'll have to pick up later that had lil mini dio out post type things in them...

I did get 2 PTE watch towers and a bunk and a parachute guy... I wanted to get more and had like $80 in my cart, lol.. but then I had to rethink it lol...there's no way I can blow $200 on toys right now like JLT.

The best thing is the price.. $8 for the watch tower and $2.50 for the horse, camel, camping, kayak and parachute sets, $5 for the bunk sets... I think the Hummers were $12, there were 3 different kinds, regular 4 Door, 2 door covered and 2-door flatbed... They also had a little bird... I'll check a couple more in the are, I wanna see some of that Chap Mei stuff!!!

So I eat PB & J and Ramen Noodles for a few weeks... but I got the PTE Bunkbed sets!! Yes, the same ones I have pre-ordered on Powerteamhq.com for the last 8 months! lol

WOW! Took my lunch break early and went to big lots... SCORE! I got 3 bunk bed sets and 1 camel set. They have SO MUCH cool stuff there! I really like all of the Military Life stuff, The campfire tent set is awesome... Everything was sweet... I hope I can get more next payday!! THANKS!

Has anyone seen the Battle Command Post at any of the Big Lots?

There's a $20 set with the dune buggy, a quad and a (unarmed) little bird. figures are 5 of the 6 delta force desert guys and the pilot figure.

 

Why do they keep making the unarmed Little Bird. I want the guns and pods!

 

Haven't seen the tower or the $2.50 sets.

 

there's 4 Humvee versions:

Regular hard top camo - with 2 marines

 

regular hard top desert - with 2 delta force

 

Flat bed - covered (in olive), with 2 desert marines and I forget what

 

flat bed - uncovered with side rails (in woodland camo like hard top) with 2 rangers and cargo (3 oil drums, 2 jerry cans, 1 small crate, 2 hand-held anti tank guns)

 

There's $4 figure packs, 3 figures, plus one larger accessory

SEALS and kayak

Delta force and grenade launcher

marines and anti-tank obstacle

desert rangers and barbed wire fence IIRC

desert marines and sandbag defense

 

they also had Chap mei little vehicles, including the Piranha knock-0ff, smaller than the Cobra version, mini tanks, a strange one man copter and 4-wheeled buggy thing. $6 each.

I need to check my Big Lots and see what they got. I still need to pick up those towers. Hey, can someone provide a pic of the tank next to a MOBAT or CAT? I want to see how they compare. I may just buy a bunch of Tanks and paint them up in Cobar and Joe colors.

Anyways, my sick twisted mind got to thinking, with those bunk beds, I guess its only a matter of time until someone customizes all the female joes in bras and panties for a Ladies Bunk Dio??? I'd do it myself if I had ANY customizing skills at all... Maybe I've just watched Stripes a few too many times.

I just went to my BigLots during my lunch and came out with a Lookout Tower and a Bunkbed set. They had sooooo much stuff, it was insane. I can't wait til my next payday...I'm going back and amassing an army! Camel/Horse sets, campfire/kayak/parachute sets, all of the humvee variations, lookout towers, soldier packs, bunkbed sets, helicopter sets... all at very awesome prices! I LOVE this stuff...it's going to come in handy with the dio I'm working on!

10 bunkers (maybe more)

4 camels (gettin more)

1 diver wit boat

That's all I can remember right now lol. I'm goin back today to "re up" lol.
