Comic Packs 44 and 101

I just checked on the HTS site, and they dont have them, TRU doesn't ahve them, eBay doesnt have them, and all the various GI Joe shops don't have them. Has HTS ever had them in stock? Will they ever get them in stock? I know General's Joes has had reviews for them for a few weeks/months now, so did I already miss my chance at buying them?

I can't say if HTS had them, although I've seen 'em restocked a few times at TRU over the last 5-6 weeks.

not to seem nit-picky, as I can understand your frustration, but the broad statement that TRU doesn't have them is completely false. the Toys R Us you went to doesn't have them, but I found them at TRU weeks ago, and was at TRU this past weekend again and the pegs were full of them. so TRU does have them.

 

I doubt HTS ever stocks them. I wouldn't be surprised if Hasbro just sold off the entire run to TRU, that way they don't get stuck with any overstock. just keep checking TRU.

I happened to be in the Rockaway, NJ TRU this past saturday and they had what looked like a case of 44 and 101. I would believe that they might become more prevalent as the "dreaded" (sorry I deliver mail, and starting in a few DAYS, I will be delivering tons and tons of CATALOGS) Christmas season gets closer. There is a slow transition in a few stores to increase their toy aisles as they get ready for the back to school rush and Halloween at the same time. HTS may put it up at the same time as when (or if, you never know) they put the fourth wave of the single packs and the two 6 packs in September.

I picked up #44 a couple of weeks ago (great pack!) and I just got #101 today. I really like it! I need to find the rest of the Oktober Guard now, though. My TRU had a ton of each in stock today. I hope you're able to get them soon TXT!

I pre-ordered from HQ and my brother got me some from out local TRU back in June or July

I think my TRU may still have them. I got doubles of the LJ set to have extras troopers.

Haven't seen it yet at my local TRU. All three TRU's are 45 minutes away in different cities, so more convenient to buy online. Hope HTS gets them but so far, #44 has been selling out on the other online sites I tend to purchase from.

 

Tried the TRU website...but can't find anything.

By 'TRU' I meant the website, sorry. but I havent seen them at any of the stores I went to either. and like kndy, all the ones in this area are at least 40 mins away. also, the very few sites I've seen them at the shipping's been a bit high, so I'd rather wait till HTS got them in, and maybe there'll be something else I want, or a coupon code or something.

The "new" TRU.com has yet to stock any Joes. Amazon (the "old" TRU.com) apparently clearanced the remaining stock they had. Amazon never had comic packs 44 or 101

i just found these at my local TRU today (they're usually a little slow getting stuff. they had about 5 of each.

I actually broke down and bought them all loose off of ebay. I didn't really need the comic reprint, anyway. The LJ is mediocre. Better than any other version of her, but still lacking. The gasmask troopers are cool additions to an already diverse rank and file.

101 - I will always buy anything Oktober Guard, but these still hold up to the impressive standards set by the other two OG sets. The figures themselves as well as their accessories really stand out as superior to many other RAH reissues.

Went to TRU and nada. Only the R.O.C.C. and paratrooper Duke Sigma 6. Have to look online or if someone can buy it and will pay you for it.
