If Your Going To Buy ONE Duke This Week

This is by far the best and funnest Sigma Six (or toy) I've played with in a long time.

Sigma STrike Duke, $20 at Target.

Best purchase ever. You get so much bang for your buck. He is freaking awesome. He looks bad ass with his suit. First it looks all HALO like and the green looks very military-like.

He has two shoulder armor pieces that can detach and attach using bands and the port hole system. He has a kick ass holster on his right leg that has a switchfire pistol. The pistol is unpainted but looks so dang cool. He has a normal Dog Tag. His helmet is alright, not the best, he looks so much better with it off. The visor does move up and down, and it looks to have night vision capabilities, or infrared capabilities, pretty nifty. Oh and his wrist communicator has a different design this time, it has a cobra symbol in it.

NOW for the fun part. His big oh freaking gun and accesories...

The backpack is attached to the gun with a cord. It has three buttons, two make the same noise... one is a power up noise, and the other is a jet thruster noise. SO the backpack has two thrusters or heat exhaust points with red lights, very cool. The middle button activates the weapons. Its either a machine gun noise or a grenade launcher noise with no weapon attached. BUt there are four different attachments... a saw, flame thrower, "laser cannon", and a Pulse Blaster. THe gun has a green button that activates the specific weapon noises, then the backpack activates secondary and thirdary weapons.

Oh and there is another noise, when you switch the weapons it makes like a cartridge exchange noise. Very Cool feature!

It almost seem unlikely that Duke could hold this massive gun, but he does it very well. It balances itself out with the backpack (since it has 3 AA batteries in the backpack included).

He is very poseable.

I Recomend him 100%.

He is my definite Duke now.

SO like I said: If your only getting one Duke this month/week better make it SIGMA STRIKE DUKE. #US1#

Hey,

I read this post this morning and stopped off at Target b4 work. They had him, so I bought him and just took him out of the package.

I think this is the coolest Sigma 6 figure yet. As Maxpower said, very HALO-like armor. He also reminded me a bit of the Alpha Ranger from the XEVOZ toy line, which I also collect. If anyone remembers the old VALIANT comics universe, he has a bit of an XO Manowar or Armorines feel to him. But anyway u slice it, this figure is TOUGH, boy!

His backpack looks a bit like the Jump-packs that the Marines use in Warhammer 40K, also. And his weapons kick butt! I might have to buy a few more and do some head swaps, so I can have a full line of kick-butt armored marines!

Thanks for the heads up Maxpower!

If you're going to buy one Duke this week, go to ebay and get V1 from 1984. You can pick him up for about the same price a S6 figure costs. ;) @smilepunch@

This is one of the S6 figures that I'll never see around where I live. Most of the stores here have finally decided that Sigma 6 isn't selling very well and have drastically reduced their stock of figures. Cool armor and weapons, though.

LOL, Well there are so many Dukes right now, I mean if you go to Target or TRU, you might see at least 5 different Dukes to choose from.. ... as for me this was my second Duke this week, first one being Arctic Duke.

The only downside to Sigma Strike Duke is NOT ENOUGH BAD GUYS TO BEAT UP.

Where are the COBRAs Hasbro? I have a Sky BAT and pair of Ninja BATs, oh and Storm Shadow and Cobra Commander, but we need more baddies for Duke to mow down. They need to release more BATs, SKY BAT in another color would be fine by me. And OVERKILL to lead them. OR that HEAVY UNIT BAT from the 2.5'' line... that would rock.

That's the inherent flaw with the 8" Sigma 6 line. With the 3" line, one could get 2-4 army builders for the same $10 or $15 of ONE S6 figure. So get 3 8" B.A.T.s or 8 3" B.A.T.s.

I think that was part of the reason they moved to a 2" line. But, unless I'm mistaken, they don't seem to have any army builder packs for the 2" line.

Got to see I agree this is the one Sigma Duke to get! I found a case tonight while pallet shopping and opened it not really expecting to pick it up right away, but I could not resit! He is even better in person! :)

Saw it at Walmart yesterday. It was cool, but I didn't have the extra cash to pick it up. Knowing my local Walmart, that'll probably be the first and last time I see it. lol
