Bat-Lantern Custom Made figure

Hi all,

 

Here's a custom figure I made a few months ago. This is a repaint of the DC Superheroes Wave 1 Batman based on his appearance in Green Lantern #9. What do you think?

I'm not a big fan of DC but I really like that! Excellent paint job. May be one of the best paint jobs I've seen yet.

Normally I use Testors enamel for all my customs and kit-bashes, but a friend of mine has been trying to convince me to switch over to acrylic. This was done with just your cheap ol' acrylic paint. I don't think it would stand up to much wear-and-tear, but I do think it looks better. It gives a fuller coverage, more realistic finish, and is a lot less expensive.

 

To be honest, I chose to do this repaint after I bought the DC Superheroes Batman and was rather disappointed with it. I decided rather than sell it on eBay or return the opened figure (I don't like to do that unless there's something wrong with it), that I'd just give it a repaint and see if I liked that better.

 

I really like how it turned out. I thought about selling it on eBay, but I like it a lot more than the 10 to 15 bucks I'd probably get for it.

Awesome job man, your paint skills are really top notch. I have been wanting a figure like this for quite sometime now, Superman as well.....but they just never seem to get made.

I wonder if something like this would be able to fall under the DCSH line up...

 

Same goes for superman, I belive he had a GL outfit for a bit around the time when he came back from the dead... a two pack exclusive would kickass
