Bad News about the SDCC exclusives online

I email Hasbrotoyshop.com and asked them as to what time the SDCC exclisoves will be up for sell.Here's the response:

well, that is definitely going to suck for me, unless I can get out on my route by 8:30 and pass my house around 9. I think I might be able to call an order in to them at their 1-800 number. I hope I can remember, the air conditioning was out at the post office that I work at, and the heat eventually gets the better of me.

I managed to get 1 501st and 1 gold tie. Yaayy for me! Glad I was already off today. Trying to get these at work with those server problems would been IMPOSSIBLE!

Well this is going to be interesting. I ended up calling in my order for nemesis prime and the 501st, and no one told me there was a limit to them. Their servers were down from 9 to about 10:30, and thank goodness for it. Calling them on my cell phone from work was kinda wierd.

I tried to order 1 this morning before I went to work but the web pages were slow to load and often the page wouldn't load. I gave up and went to work. Came home and their gone. Oh well.

not really, he was ordering one for himself and the other 3 were for his other 3 friends that couldnt make it near the computer (including me!)

Yes there was a limit to one trooper per address. I don't know how his friend got four sent to the same address. I was told could only order one.

It might have been possible that he had them sent to 4 different addresses, or used 4 different credit cards to make the multiple purchase. I just found out that HTS doesn't have the order that I placed by phone in their system, so I think that they ran out by the time I got through at 10:30.

I must say that is was the biggest blunder that Hasbro has ever made.I read on Rebelscum.com that someone was able to get 4 of the 501st trooper in one order.Tell me that?Well,a fellow collector was able to get me one.

yeah, shame on Hasbro for not running their business around your life. perhaps you should have contacted them months ago with your availability, maybe they could have worked around it.

 

there is nothing unreasonable about the figures going on sale at 9 am. no need for the snide comment to Hasbro as if they have somehow wronged you.

Hasbro sucked it up on this one again. I hate exclusives now. Before I found them annoying, now I hate them. I was online for 20 minutes with 3 MB's of "this piece of crap server is down."

 

Then, when I do get to go back online, the stupid prime is "coming soon." The dilbert that was putting the Con stuff up couldn't even get that part right.

 

If toy collectors weren't so die hard, Hasbro would literally sink. I don't care what kind of crap they talk about 5-6 yr olds making the market, if collectors dropped out, hasbrudda would die.

I am saying is that it was a bit unfair but hey,If you were able to get 500 of them with no probelm and ale to sell them on e-prey.Go ahead.
