MK Shang Tsung 'Budo' auction

They're not worth anything near that. While this series of figures has gotten more popular in recent years, they aren't that valuable. $15-$18 is probably a good price for a loose, mint complete with a carded version going in the mid to high $20's.

That being said, though, this particular version appears to be one of the Mortal Combat Movie paint variants. Some of those are extremely rare, though I'm not sure about this particular variant in specific. But, it's still not worth the price the seller is asking as these figures just aren't that popular.

a seller listing a figure with a high starting amount or buy it now does not equate to that figures worth or popularity.

much ado about nothing. it isn't as if the figure sold for $275.

I know all that stuff, I just can't believe the guy seriously thinks he's going to get a buyer at that price.

Then again, I've seen dumber actual purchases on Ebay. (I still remember that $600 'PS2 photo' auction a couple of years ago. That poor bastard.)
