Personaly I'd have to see pictures of all [Emma's] "differnt" outfits to even be able to tell any difference... All her outfits IMO are rather stupid and are either less skin showing or more skin showing
Heh, just for the heck of it...

I like #5 the best. I just prefer stylish to slutty. Glad the figure is pretty much that version.

Number 5 me as well......for the same reason as yours..

what is toybiz doing thats so cheap, I think they should only use NEW headsculpts not ones of real people even if it is for a movie. @grumpy@ @grumpy@

to stay on topic I know we'll never get Emma's old costume, and this one would be my 1st choice anyways, although a variant of her old Hellfire costume would be nice a diamond one would be cooler.

Not to contribute more to the uselessness of the x-23/warbird comparisson, but look:

http://www.marvellegends.net/pages/faces/X23.htm

http://marvellegends.net/pages/faces/MsMarvel.htm

OMG, both sculpted by Dave Cortez!

Not the same face, barely even close...just similarities because of the guy who sculpted them. Now everyone find some others to compare that look nothin alike :D

Wow looking at that website just makes me think that I really hate Dave Cortez work. Go to the website http://marvellegends.net/ click on year book, and then click on a picture of figure to see who sculpted it. I hate pretty much every thing he made except Iron Man, Colossus, and the Sentinel. As for the best sculptor I’d have to say Phil Ramirez, as everything he puts out is usually dead on. Anyway I won’t get into the same sculpt issue any more; however I would like to point out how similar the jaws and mouths look on all the figures done by Dave Cortez.

Thanks for that B heh!

I like 5 though 4 &6 are decent enough as well, Leo I can actaully understand you're reasons for wanting that one quite well :) More of a FA type thing than anything else :D I am quite sure how ever once this version comes out we will quite frankly never see an other marvel figure with this much skin on it ever again due to all the whiney parnets who will call and complain about it :P

Each their own, but I'd say both are well talented. Phil Ramirez's lady death strike is awful while Cortez's Face off Captain America is awsome!

Could some one pm me the pics or perhaps pm me a link to the pics??? Prettty Plleeeaaasee

The links are on page 7 of this thread.

And back to Emma, I can certainly see where people wanting her original Hellfire Club costume are coming from. That would definitely be my second choice for nostalgia's sake. In a perfect world we'd get a variant with that outfit and a Sebastian Shaw to pose her with in the next wave. Sadly I don't think any of the other Hellfire club members will ever rate action figures. Aside from the higher price point and less articulation, the one advantage DC Direct has over ML is that they will make absolutely any character, regardless of how obscure, because they know they sell almost exclusively to a collector market.

Well yes, but then how many Batman and Superman figures and different art styles do you have to put up with to get them? :P

I like costume #1, not because of what you think, I like it because that's the one I remember her from as a kid. I remember having a trading card that came with the old x-men toys and that's the one she wore in the 80's x-men cartoon pryde of the x-men.

Still I don't think that one'll ever get made, and I'm fine with it because I realize wal-mart would never carry it.

Also I like her hair more like her later appearances where it's more silver/white than blonde. Both work fine for me, but if they were to do a chase, it'd be nice to have the other hair color on a different maybe angrier head sculpt (because she does get angry).

I like #1.. well, because its the hottest... I remember when I was little and read comics with her in it.. I couldn't believe my eyes!

translation = I know I am wrong.. but for some reason, still can't admit it. I know that if I just said, woops, I am wrong, everybody would be okay and forgive me.. but I would rather act like a little brat!

just kidding with you man.. @lol@

First, let me say that I’m 19, and will be 20 years old in about a mouth.

Second, why do you continue to attack me after I already dropped the issue? I already posted all the evidence and research I could think of on the subject, and until new evidence comes to light, that’s all I can think of to say on the issue. So unless you post some new evidence, like close up high resolution head shot pictures of both X-23 and Warbird, with their heads tilted at the same angle, I suggest you drop the issue as well.

But since they don't do the BAF thing to make you buy them all, it's easy enough to pass on the overdone big guns.

The guy still won't admit he's wrong. He's put too much time and effort into trying to prove the world is flat.

Haha.....indeed. ;)

Here Robocop. Highest rez I can get. If you can't see a difference now you should get a new monitor :)

Thanks for posting the picture Sisco. I can now see that the mouth area is definitely different, and that the finals are different, so I was wrong. The distance between the lips and the chin, and the lips and the nose is much shorter on X-23, when compared to Warbird, and as mentioned before, X-23’s nose is a bit upturned. X-23’s head seems to be smaller overall when compared to Warbird, which is odd. Perhaps a scaling issue, but that still wouldn’t explain the ears or the nose. I do think that the pictures I posted do prove that the prototypes of both figures did have the same head sculpt, but somewhere down the line X-23’s changed. Which is weird since if they had to change one of the head sculpts I would change Warbird’s as it doesn’t look like the character, while the sculpt looks pretty good on X-23. Regardless I’m sorry for wasting anyone’s time.

While browsing http://marvellegends.net/ I noticed that Elektra and Black Cat also seem to have the same head sculpt, which I know is a can of worms, but I couldn’t help myself, and had to mention it.

On an entirely different subject, does anyone else think that Banshee’s current head sculpt would be a great base for an Arcade custom? The X-Men/Spider-Man villain that kidnaps people, and then traps them in his killer amusement park called Murder World. I always wanted a figure of him.

where I can really tell the difference is in their noses, especially the nostrils... X-23's nostrils go way up, like she could pick her nose... Warbird's don't

I just saw Warbird's brain matter... @hmmm@

Wow, I'd say so...what the hell happened to that poor figure :(

Yeah, the protos certainly leave much to be desired, but I'm not going to abandon all hope yet. I actually like the Hercules the most, although he seems to have quite the large torso. White Queen really isn't what I hoped for, the face is way off and hopefully we may get a variant from her Hellfire Club days. My choice obviously is for #1 out of all of her costumes at the Uncanny X-Men site, but #5 is not bad either. Banshee's face will need work and they really need to give him the collar on his costume. I myself think his face would be suitable for a custom Arcade (I'd love to have a figure of him too), but the screaming expression doesn't fit that character, maybe a devilish grin instead @twisted@ The other figs of Hulk and Shell-head are just not my style, I prefer classic renditions of Marvel characters.

That Hercules looks very happening though Annilhaus looks great! Which means I have to get all of them. Not really a big deal since I'd be getting all of them anyway. I also hope Banshee as an alternate head because otherwise he's going to be very annoying.

I hope they do something about Banshee's head... that is so dissapointing... the one character I have wanted from the start... and he looks aweful
