DD Roundtable Questions

OK, for the non-con'ers, post your questions to Devil's Due here and I'll try to get them answered for you. I will add a thread for questions for the Club and Hasbro roundtable as well.

 

Just as a warning....the last two years these guys have told us virtually nothing other than "read the book." Should we ask if it has jumped the shark? heh heh

Sure. Ask when the comic is going to stop sucking.

Well, three years ago they told us there was going to be the Silent Issue, Serpentor would return, and people would die.

 

Two years ago I slept during the roundtable.

 

Last year they told us the book was going to go in a new direction after the Red Shadows Arc and be written by someone who's good with Super-teams (probably not the normal Joes).

 

This year we need to find out if they're changing writers, and if so, if they'll put Buzz Dixon back on the comic... The guy wrote some of the greatest stories we all know and love from the TV-shows of the 80s, and he did a pretty good job in Reloaded I thought (And I wish that series continued, even if it was way-out-of-the-ordinary.)

 

Questions NOT to ask: "Will Frontline be returning?" The answer has been a disguided NO every year since it was canceled.

 

"Why does Snake-Eyes have to star in every story?" Because he is the money-maker and while we might not see him as the epitome of G.I.Joe, he definately is to people who barely remember G.I.Joe...

 

A good question to possibly ask is if they can't give us more character driven stories, if they can have themselves the "core cast" and only use one or two people from the "core cast" at a time, and bring in other characters with the "specialty" for that specific mission, i.e. Manhattan?
