Over 40 bucks for this? Seems pretty steep. Maybe I should start putting customs on the 'Bay.

WOW. Do clean customs normally go for that much?! Seems a bit steep for a custom. especially since you can only see one pic of the product. And the pic's, not even all that good. I would need a bunch of close ups to spend that much on a custom.

Oh yeah, and the head is said to pop off. That kinda bugs me. Sure it's more for display, but I would hope it would be able to handle being moved around some without having to pop the head back into place.

 

But I guess it looks like I'm the crazy one. Had no idea most customs were going for that much. I've only seen ML style customs go for that price.

I've never really understood why people are willing to pay so much for ANY custom. I dunno what it is, but buying someone else's work, when it comes to toys, just feels wrong. Not trying to bring anyone down, as I know there are a lot of really talented customizers on this board...some who have amazed me with their talent...but I would never buy a custom figure.

i was watching a few of this guys auctions i like his ARAH customs better then his new sculpt stuff, i'll see if i can find a link for ya?

Some of this guy's customs are pretty good. I particularly like his idea for making Headhunter Stormtroopers for example. And the female Crimson Guard chick is awesome!
