The fact that he recognizes his own spelling problems shows he has the ability to correct it. If his spelling is that bad he should spend less time searching for toys and even less time on message boards and more time in school.

 

there is a difference between being a poor typer, which leads to many misspellings online, and being a bad speller, which shows an educational deficiency which should be corrected and take precedence over toys.

Even if what you say is true, and probably is, does it mean you have to stoop down to their level and be apart of the attacks? Better yet, if everyone decided to jump off a bridge, would you? Very mature.

 

Thing you have to understand is, nobody is perfect or is as capable as the next person is when it comes to certain things. Like for example, spelling. Yet that same individual is most likely a lot better at other things than that other person is. Everyone is going to be good or bad at something. We can't be great at everything, like your's truely. Just kidding of course.

 

My point is, if this person is learning the language for the first time or has been using it for decades, and simply has difficulty using it to the best of their abilities, it isn't cool to make fun of them.

 

Here are somethings I suggest you and others should do if this bothers you that much.

 

1. Try to make sense of what the poster is saying and reply to them accordingly. No, this is not mocking them or putting them down. Unless they are your friend, then by all means go for it. My friends always give me a hard time, but I return the favour more often than not.

 

2. You can be aware of their problem, and let them know the more proper way of going about what they want.

 

3. You can ignore the post/thread altogether.

 

Edit: Just read more of your post. We can't be quick to assume that this person is a grown up. Could be a kid. Not saying that it is, but there could be various reasons why this person's spelling is below average, and honestly who cares. I am done with this thread. Good day.

One comment, I am not defending the people that are critiquing spelling or those that think it is wrong but I know a lot of people have the Google or other taskbars on their computers. There is a spellcheck option on these taskbars.

 

 

Honestly there is no excuse anymore for poor spelling UNLESS they do not have a taskbar installed, if they have it and do not use it they are just extermely lazy.

Anyways.....................bunch of damn kids, getting back to the guy's main question, no I haven't found the battle pack yet in any TRU in my area. I called the 800 number for their home delivery service and the lady told me that those have not yet started to ship, at least not to any of the stores here in California and Amazon.com has it pushed back to June 1st.

People make typing mistakes... I'm a freelance entertainment writer and I have to thank my copy editor for catching my mistakes from time to time and when you are online... as much as it can be unnerving to some, we all have our moments of occassional typos. Also, with the International presence on TNI, things happen. No biggie. yeah, I think Amazon was sending out emails that they'll be available June 1st or something like that.... A local guy here said they a TRU manager checked their computers and they're in the warehouse ready to ship to stores.. so we'll see.. three's a TRU warehouse like 25 mins from here(I used to work there back in the day).. too bad I just cant go there and be like..
