I'd love to see even more Ed McGuinnes DC Direct figures

I happen to love the look of the Ed McGuinnes DC Direct figures I've seen so far.

I realize they're not everyone's cup of tea (i.e. complaints of the chunky thighs), but I've bought most of them so far and I'm looking forward to the next wave esp. Nightwing.

I want to see more DC characters done in this style.

I'd love to see:

Bizarro

Joker

Lex Luthor in his Battle Suit

Power Girl

Supergirl

Robin

Huntress

Mongul

..since I'm not a big fan of John Stewart, I passed on that figure and I'd love to get a Hal Jordan figure done in this style.

Well if they continue the Superman/Batman series into the current "With A Vengeance" storyline I'd want-

Bizarro

Batzarro

Batman Beyond

Batwoman

Superwoman

Superlad

Joker

Darksied

Metron w/ Mobius Chair (yeah right...;))

Ms Miracle

Big Bard

Who´s Batzarro??

He's from an alternate reality I believe. He's from the With A Vengeance storyline in the Superman/Batman comics.

I seem to like the female characters more if done in figure form.

I would like to see:

Huntress, Superwoman,Batwoman,Batgirl

and possibly a Supergirl Boxset!

I like the figures too - they are different, but I dig the style although I like Turner's Identity Crisis figures too

I am looking forward to Nightwing and Hawkman

Has McGuinnes drawn Darkseid before? If he has, does anyone have a scan of it? I wonder wht his version of Darkseid would look like in figure form.

The figures kinda remind me of the classic MOTU figures, maybe that's why I like the figs so much.

Aw Man!! He has drawn the Joker but not Darkseid yet. The figures made after his drawings are very sweet. The next line should be pretty good. Can't wait till Hawkman and Nightwing come out!! As for Luthor they haven't said if he is going to be in a suit or his battle armor.

He drew both Joker and Darkseid in the current Superman/Batman story "With a Vengence".

His Joker doesnt particularly stand out but still looks decent.

I do love his sculpts, but what happened with my PE Batman is unforgivable.

I wanted to get the McG lines, but Batman turned me off. Batman's cape was cast in red rubber. The red rubber was then painted black. Mine began fading and peeling within hours of being removed from the package. Any coolness factor that came with the figure was thrown out the window because of this.

Although I do love McG drawing Batman. The figure just didnt work for me. THe pose looks akward and the cape is just too short. Then I heard that the cape's paint comes off...... man,big let down!

I tend to skip the majority of DC Direct (not enough articulation) but when I saw the Justice League: Classified figures I just had to have the whole set. I mean, they made Aquaman look badass, how could you not love a line that actually makes Aquaman look cool? And Wonder Woman rocked as well, I love the way she actually had some muscle to her. Of course once I busted those bad boys out I needed to complete the JLA with Batman and Superman, so I picked up that whole wave as well. Needless to say I would LOVE to see this style continued, I need more JLAers and a lot more villians, stat!

(a little extra articulation wouldn't hurt either)
