Why the hell did DCD throw in a Golden Age fig (Atom) into the line-up?

 

Why not give us an in-scale Atom Smasher?

 

Just makes you wonder who is making the decisions over at DCD.

Actually, I'm happy they are including the Golden Age Atom. He's a character that has never been made before (except as a pocket hero) and he's WAY overdue for a figure. He's vital to the Golden Age JSA.

 

And how great is it that they are making Mr. Terrific?!!? DC has very few African American characters (although, that's changing thanks to Grant Morrison who is broadening the ethnic diversity of the DCU), and very few have ever been made into figures...Nubia was the first, in the Wonder Woman fashion doll line, then John Stewart in DC Direct and Justice League, Black Lightning in Total Justice, Cyborg in Super-Powers, DC Direct and Teen Titans, Bumblebee in Teen Titans, Steel in Superman: Man of Steel, Steel movie line, Total Justice and DC Direct and Vixen in JLU. I know, I know I got them out of order after Nubia...sorry.

For villains, there's Black Manta and, um...that's it.

 

Okay, I'm off track from the JSA...I'm happy with this line-up...I'll buy them all and display them all. Most recently I've been buying them all and keeping them in their packages because I already have those characters on display...these ones are all new! January '07 can't come quickly enough!
