finally opened/got my sand person and scout trooper.

Scout trooper - awesome, but he should have the "splits" legs like VOTC luke so he could mount a speeder bike

Sand Person - $12 and no ball socket elbow? I think every joint should be ball socket for the VOTC figures. His stupid arm pops off everytime it moves and gets lost in the rag jacket

thanks, that saves me the trouble of ebaying a speeder bike....i felt sure they'd have made him able to sit on one though oh well.

I think as a whole some are crap, crappier and 1 is good. Just like the first round of VOTC a few are real stinkers. They are best left carded. Sandperson = garbage: softs goods makes him to fat! I HATE SG!

Greedo = almost crap: SG is decent but to long and a figure that is no better really than the old Greedo.

Han = major disappointment: decent but the head is way to small for the body.

Luke = CRAPTASICLY disappointed: the arms are way to long!!! His hands reach his knees. No one's do that.

 

So as you can see I am major disappointed on these and am glad I am not getting a case after all. The Scout rules loose and carded and is the only one that does. I will get a set carded but only the Scout and Han loose. And I pretty much expect the next round to suck too for openers like me unless there is no SG. I am just glad my most wanted fig, Bespin Luke should not have any.

He's obviously not made for it, but the biker does fit on the POTF bike.

Crap? He's got 8 ball joints, and the last one none, 2 ugly hinged knees and a preposed arm. I love this Greedo. The cloth vest is horrid, but it comes off. And the old plastic one fits him well enough.

 

EDIT: Nine ball joints; I forgot the neck. ANd the belt and holster are bitchin'! @hmmm@

Mind can fit on a speeder bike also. My favs. are in this order.

 

1. Biker scout

2. Greedo

3. Luke

4. Tuskin Rader

5. Han

 

I just dont like the han because of the coat. I hate soft goods also why can it not be all Plastic!!!!!!!!!!

Hey I like the cloth and hate it when they do all-plastic because all-plastic on things like long coats and robes kills posability.

 

Besides, cloth costs more, and with what they charge, I expect them to spend the most delivering ont hese figures.

I am an opener for 95% of the stuff I buy, but this line has always been MOSC for me. You'll be less disappointed that way...

well, I still like the Scout trooper, Greedo has that funky green suit, but that is what he was wearing in the movie. He's poseable at least. I just thought the sand person's elbows were crap. I hate that swivel joint cause it ruins a lot of poses (raise his gaffa stick above his head w/out the coat and you'll see) and his arm always falls off.

I thought the Luke Xwing looked great, just a few custom head swaps and he'd be good to go.

So far I have Luke the Biker Scout and I just picked up Greedo today.If it weren't for the Lucas trooper I wouldn't open these

 

I might wait until Target puts out the new bubble containers to put these into.

 

But I know I'm itching to open the Biker Scout and grab a few more later

This wave is great. Every figure is a gem. I only have three complaints, two big and one small.

 

Greedo's vest isn't that great. (there's the small complaint.) The Joints should all be ball jointed (Tusken Elbow and definately, the HIPS!) DCSH those hips hasbrutha. Finally the face on Luke is puke as usual. Mark's face isn't that difficult to sculpt is it? Apparently so. There has never been a good luke face on an action figure imo.
