I don't know, but did you notice Tomax & Xamot's hair is different as well?

Those are the proto T&X figures that were also shown in the '85 catalog. It's interesting they also appear here. The fact that they have a silver gun suggests that they might not have been just kitbashes and may have been a lot closer to production than is believed.

Not sure.I believe the mail order version had the Night Force orange guns, missles, tail section and a black engine compartment but the mold itself was white.I've always loved the prototype heads on Tomax and Xamot so much more than what we got when they were released.

I've seen it on eBay like that a few times, actually. I haven't figured out why anyone would order such a fugly version of it, but, hey, to each their own. The good Doctor is right, though. It's an amalgamation of the Triple T and the Night Raider (Night Force Triple T)

So. . . . does anyone know what Triple T stands for?

I have that Triple T, however I ordered the Triple T from a mail order catalog that pictured it in original colors. That mail order catalog came later. I'm pretty sure it's all Night Raider colors, except the 1 large white main body piece and the stickers.
