looks to me like they are hoping ninjas will boost their sales, again.

Sorry there are just to many more intersting stories i want to be told than scarlet's origin.

although i have to admit, i'll probably buy it.

How is Scarlett's origin in any way related to ninjas?

Personally, out of all the Joe Mythos this is the story I want the most. I'm awfully biased though.

she is a martial artist and is our big ninja's main squeeze. It's not the worst story to see, but i'd rather see a wedding issue! or a stall or rey issue.

The news is nice, but I would much rather see a Firefly Declassified. I'm sure many could agree with me. We've seen Snake Eyes' origin along with Stormy, CC, and Zartan. Give us some Firefly man. Give us enough, withought spilling all the beans.

This sounds really promising, but I can see it falling flat on its face as well.

I like the idea of oneshot declassified/origin stories. I'll buy it when it comes out.

I hope they do a G.I. Joseph Colton JOE origin, with JFK and his coolest missions, they could end it with Viper LOckdown

I hope this works out. There are many stories I would rather see... But this one could lay the foundation for many more.

Im anxiously looking forward to GI JOE : Declassified, although I will be dissapointed if there is no reference to Shooter in the comic (I expect there wont be).

I think some more obscure yet still mainstream characters would be great choices. Personally I would pick Scrap Iron for the first Cobra to declassify. Also I think Stalker would be an interesting story. From Gang Lord to Real American Hero??? There has to be a story there.

I was hoping Shooter might appear briefly when I first heard about the project but the solicitation basically dashes any hopes of Shooter having any role in the story. It says "Finally revealed -- the recruitment of the original 13 agents, and the missions that happened before G.I.JOE #1! Also, a deadly anger brews in the heart of a frustrated used car salesman... Cobra is coming... Three issues of classic military action written by the man who started the whole saga!

The return of Larry Hama to the characters he made famous! Hawk! Stalker! Scarlett! Snake-Eyes! Breaker! Rock 'N Roll! Grunt! Steeler! Clutch! Grand Slam! Short-Fuse! Flash! Zap!"

Siince Shooter's name isn't listed and it specifically says 13 agents, I doubt his name will pop up at all. :(
