not to speak for Al, but probably because the size of the arm pegs or the balls of the arms. it happens sometimes with customs, and it is something I have never been too concerned with myself if the torso stays together, the arms aren't loose, and the gap isn't gapping.

 

outstanding work. the mods on the Grunt torso are outstanding. if not for the holster, I couldn't tell whether it was Grunts torso.
