What's with me? I am not even a big DC fan...

I got the DC Direct Superman 13" Deluxe figure (which I absolutely love) a very nice and big resin statue of Batman and Catgirl done in Frank Miller style. It retails for 250 US, but I paid 40 US! Talk about a score!

 

I already have a few other DC stuff, but now I gone and done something unthinkable.. especially for someone who isn't even a mainstream DC collector... I just preordered the 1:4 scale Museum quality Superman statue... I had to have it. It's gorgeous! It's like Sideshow's Premium Format figures, which I also preordered an item of.

Edit: Is anyone else in the same boat as me? Wondering why they spent so much into a line they aren't big into. I can't help myself, I like quality pieces and DC Direct has been putting out a lot of great stuff. Can't go wrong with Superman or Batman stuff anyway.

On a side note I've really taken a liking to the DC Superheros line. I've come really close on a couple of occasions to getting all of series 1.

I like DC and Marvel. As long as the art or product is good... I used to be faithful to just one hero or one line, but not anymore. To me, it's all about the quality baby. How it looks, because damnit looks are important to me.

i to am not a big DC fan, but always finding myself buying a(as long as its 6inch)batman, superman, bane, you know the basic DC heros and stuff, now including the batman lego, but lego is just cool anyway!!

I'm not a big DC fan either, and I haven't spent nearly as much as you have, but I sympathize. Fact is, DC is CLASSIC!

 

I gotta admit, it's tempting to get the JLU figures, and all the cool Superman/Batman/Wonder Woman stuff out there, but I have to focus on just a few lines or I'll just have a mass of stuff, toy-wise, but like I said, I see where you're coming from.
