Which one?

Okay, hypothetically speaking you and one, and only one hero are the only two people standing against a cacaphony of villians (both superpowered and non-powered). Which one hero would you pick to stand with? The only restriction is you can't select someone like the Spectre who would wipe them all away like ten pins. Other than that, the skies the limit.

 

I'd pick Batman. Not a meta-human but you know he'd have something figured out in about 3 seconds. Plus he'd know what I'm capable of (not much) and know how best to use me in the fight. He's only human but would definitely formulate some plan to win.

I'd go with Batman too (thats only because hes my favorite).

 

Otherwise, Superman is definately a good choice if you want to live! lol

If I couldn't pick hal well then, I'd go with bats as well, cause if we couldn't beat them he would at least get us out of there alive

I would go with Hal Jordan too or other GLs, like Stewart or Gardner. I wouldn't really consider him to really be a god-like meta-human, but his ring packs a lot of power which is always useful.

 

If i couldn't team-up with him, i'd settle with Batman.

Well that depends on what version of Superman you're going to pick. I mean there's the comic version, which varies greatly depending on who's writing him, the JLU version (which is pretty whimpy) and the Chris Reeve version (again sorta whimpy and weird, what with the end of #2). But I think Hal or Bats would be the best choices. Being the man without fear and the world's greatest detective, those two make obivous choices.

Well the Flash would be pretty useful if there were alot of bad guys, he could deal with a chunk of them pretty quickly, fastest man alive an' all that.

 

Does the 'god' rule apply to Dr Fate? he's pretty powerful. He could get you out of there, and also mess with the badguys.

 

Bats or GL are good choices. I would like to think that Green arrow could give them a run for their money as well, tho I doubt he would be as effective.

 

And Captain Marvel could hold himself, tho again, the god rule, but then he is 'earth's mightiest mortal'

Well I'm not up on my Dr. Fate but from what I do know he's not "god-like". I mean he's got the Helm of Nabu, a Lord of Order, but could still get pretty beat up so I'd let him in. As for the Big Red Cheese, he is a mortal and could get beaten. Plus if you taped over his mouth and bound him he'd be just a little boy. So, yeah Marvel is in.

 

GA is a good choice, if only for the JLU portrayal. Such a bad ass. And WW is another good choice, what with the born warrior thing and all. But I still stick with my original selection. Every other hero would let their emotions get in the way. Batman has distanced himself enough to allow for the pure logical planning needed to take out the number of bad guys I'm thinking of, which is somewhere in the neighborhood of like 100.

I wanted to go with Hitman but I think Tommy is dead,isn't he? Don't know if Firestorm would fit the "god" bill or not. I'm just trying to think of someone who would have a chance of going toe-to-toe with some of the evil big guns.

Jack Marlowe, or the Midnighter, or Jack Hawksmoor, or Supreme. They are all pretty powerful, so some may fall into the god-like catagory. Oh or Alan Moore, because i may die, but i would definately be entertained for a moment. Question, why do these villans all want to kill me?
