It seems the BBC have finally done it and managed to get a great range of exciting Doctor Who action figures out on the shelves! I saw them today and the aliens are amazing, unfortunately I didn't have the money to buy them all but I did purchase The Doctor and Rose + K9, here's some pics of them.

 

The 10th Doctor/David Tennant:

 

Rose/Billie Piper + K9:

 

I have not taken the figures off the card, so I can't tell of the figure quality, however they are good sculpts. The Doctor comes with a very small Sonic Screwdriver, while Rose comes with a pull-back-and-go K9 which also has a removable panel on his side to reveal his inside circuitry. They are much more superior to the old Doctor Who dapol figures. Also available are the various aliens the Doctor faced in the amazing new series, such as the Daleks and the Slitheen.

I have the new sonic screwdriver which I'm always finding new things to use it on. Apparently the Doctor Who production team took asked for the designs and moulds the the toy so they could use it in the show. It's a good shape and size, and obviously more robust than the one that was used in the show.

 

Out of the figures the 10th doctor is looking like mt fav. Argos do an exclusive 10th doctor in the 9th doctor's clothes from 'parting of the ways pt 2' and the children in need special.

 

Also, the TARDIS set looks very good.
