He's sad because his ice sled is made from stinky defrosted/refrozen freezer ice. Any more of a yellow tinge and I'd have to say that stuff was frozen toliet water...

is that de-iced iceman a comic version or from the movie?

It's a comic based costume, I would say early 90s. It was his de-iced form back in the Jim Lee era of blue/gold teams, but to my recollection, the "x" on the costume was bigger and overlapped both the dark and light blues, sort of riding the edge that separated them.

Sweet, that is a cool costume. I think he even wore that in his one and only appearance in the original X-Men cartoon. Now that i see the "iced" version of his figure, i can see why he has no belt. I'm happy again.
