GI JOE's answer to the B.A.T.?

Some people are going to hate this idea--- but I've been trying to work some of my Microman figures into my existing JOEverse and yesterday I decided that the Military Micromen could actually be part of the R.S.G. or Robot Support Group. In my 'verse they'll be a JOE attempt to answer the B.A.T. problem.

Basically, after a particularly savage battle between a company of Green Shirts and some B.A.T. troopers in Sudan, the JOEs decided they needed some form of semi-expendable troops that could combat the B.A.T. forces. Training more Green Shirts is expensive (and the losses can have political implications), so they developed the R.S.G.

They're basically androids developed specifically to fight B.A.T. forces. They're more autonomous than B.A.T's, with a mid-level artificial intelligence (like Johnny Five or something similiar). The R.S.G. weren't developed in the same numbers as B.A.T. troops, and are instead far more specialized (quality over quantity vs. the B.A.T. quantity over quality).

What do y'all think? Here are some preliminary pics, but maybe I'll make a full bio some day:

Yep - hate the idea! I like the idea of them using robots like Pacrats and stuff like that, but that's about it. I like the sci-fi elements in GI Joe to pretty much stay with Cobra, and keep GI Joe more realistic/military.

Yeah, I knew that the majority of people might feel this way. I just can't see using the above figures as more advanced B.A.T.s (even less advanced ones). They don't look menacing. More heroic than anything else.

Well, don't get me wrong - they are cool little figures. I guess it's just not my thing. To each his own, I say.

Put some big hands and feet on those babies, and they'd make perfect versions of Sigma Six...in 1:18 scale! ^_^

Maybe paint them all silver and blue, and you could have a pretty good resemblance to the robots in IROBOT. Then make them rebel and try to destroy society! GI JOe comes in, voila! Problem solved. Other than that scenario, I see no use for them in my joeverse.

Too weird, I just finished watching (half) of that movie. Yeah I couldn't sit through the whole thing, I miss the fresh prince version of will smith :P
