Wow The Dragon Hawk

The new 2 1/2 scale Dragon Hawk is quite possibly one of the coolest Gijoe vehicles Ever created. It simply looks wicked. I could see many people army building these! But unfortunetly none of our beloved Joes will fit in them, only your M.A.S.K. figures :( Why Hasbro why?

Whose gonna buy one anyways? Or whose going to Boycott these mini me toys.

didn't realize lt. stone was the new pilot. What's wrong with good old wild bill? of course heavy duty flew a copter on the toon too, so specalities don't matter. I can't really say to much, they didn't in the old sunbow toon either.

I have to confess, i would have bought one in 3 3/4 " scale.

I like the look of all of those small sized vehicles. It would be nice if Hasbro would make them in the 3 3/4 scale and sell them online.

That Looks Great & CAN STILL work for 3 3/4 figures,just not a 2 man crew :D

Just take out the backseat of the front chair & a little creativity & I think a 3 3/4 figure will fit in that :D

No it can't. Someone took pics with a 3 3/4 figure in the cockpit and unless you rip it apart and used a ton of plastic to expand the cockpit it couldn't fit one of the bigger figures.

It's bad enough that DTC Wave 4 sucks, but it just adds insult to injury that this 2.5" line is getting these cool vehicles.

Face it their just not compatible. You'd have to make a cockpit from SCRATCH in order to fit 1 3 3/4 figure. Let's face it, it's just not a great time to be a 3 3/4 fan. Although at around this time last year when Sigma 6 was first announced everyone was disapointed and depressed until 3 months later when we first saw pics of the first Wave of DTC figures.

So hopefully Hasbro will give us something 'good' to look forward.

I hope.

Even if these were made for the 3/3/4 line, instead of expressing outrage over the fact they are scaled to 2/5, we'd be complaining about how crappy they are compared to RAH vehicles.

true

im telling you we could get better figs out of a happy meal lol.

we already did!

I wouldn't, I think these things are sensational. These come closer to looking like RAh vehicles from back in the day then a lot of the crap Hasbro has saddeled us with in the last few years.

Yeah, I agree. No gimmicky crap to get in the way of the design, a nice, sleek blend of realism and the futuristic look, and a good old fashioned 1982-84 style olive drab paint job... Perfect, other than the fact it's out of scale. I could really see this thing escorted by a couple of Skyhawks.

I don't understand how hard it would have been for Hasbro to up the scale a little bit and give us, and the public, 3 3/4" Sigma Six stuff - they already started with the Rhino and all the other stuff, and they could have just released those at retail under the Sigma Six banner if they wanted kids involved. Add o-ringed figures instead of that pre-posed crap and they'd still have the RAH fans onboard. This whole line seems like a wasted effort...

Sorry, there's just too much great stuff coming this year to get into this mini stuff. The vehicles might be nice but you can't just keep switching scale. I accepted S6 at 8" when they fit with nothing else that I own. Now I'm supposed to dig the 2.5 and dig out my old MASK crusaders to fit into the party. Nope.

It's not a "boycott" I've engaged in, by not buying this stuff, even with my lack of interest in Sigma Six! Hell, if that were the correct choice of words, to indicate NOT buying something....I'd have a huge-ass list of toy "boycotts" as I don't collect all that much, I just collect as much as I CAN of one thing I REALLY like, which happens to be the 3 3/4" G.I.Joe stuff.

This Dragonhawk looks really cool, but I certainly don't have any "use" for it, so I doubt I'd spend $30+ on it, when I have so much OTHER stuff I could be piling up on, for my preferred scale of G.I.Joe.

I'm not trying to "prove" anything by not buying and collecting Sigma Six toys (and now the 2.5" scale) and a 'boycott" is just that...trying to prove something.

I guess I'm merely monogamous in my relationship with 3 3/4" G.I.Joe...than BITTER about another? @loll@

I think you are somewhat bitter. :) The root of the issue is that the R&D funding that goes to S6, in the minds of many of the Anti-S6 camp, should rightfully be going to the 3/3/4 team. That way we get new vehicles, sculpts, etc. No Frankenfigures and more new characters.

I think it really irks a few users is that Hasbro took away a 3/3/4 line that was lukewarm in the collector community anyway and replaced it with a complete departure of scale/style.

Hard to say. At first I'd have mixed reservations. OK it's cool lookin without a doubt, but lately have been starting to reject the newer vehicles (except the N.O. Humvee! and Sting Raiders!). The vintage RAH vehicles are still #1 IMO. The Night Ops Vamp is garbage. I'd also pass on the new Cobra Firebat. The rest is unthinkable.
