Figurines glued to stands aren't very fun (for me). I can't make Duke and a B.A.T. slow-dance and then be asked to "make space for the holy ghost" by Storm Shadow, if I can't move their arms.

You could always glue magnetics to their feet and play Electric Football with them.

Hi folks. I'm new here(So take it easy on me).

I'm just going to offer an alternative view on the subject.

I am probably one of the few who doesn't mind the new sizes.

It's just that they are 1/24, and that is my scale. I'm more into the vehicles than the figures, to be honest, but the figures aren't that bad.

If you are all able to honestly judge the older 3 3/4 figures, most of the vehicles were out of scale(Usually too small for the figures). Not all, but most of them. If you look at all the new stuff from the 2.5" line, the vehicles(The Dragonhawk and that cool little cobra attack jet), they would have been pretty big(And expensive) at 1/18.

Fair enough, you all like the 3 3/4. I respect that. I have a soft spot for that stuff too.

It's just that the 1/24 stuff enables them to make larger vehicles(In scale), and not have them as big as the FLAGG...

I accept i am not indicative of their target market, as i am a model-maker(And as i said, i am a real fan of 1/24 stuff. I only see the vehicles as fodder for model-conversions. I am working on a Dragonhawk conversion right now(I removed the lower weapons pod, and landing legs, and i am scratch-building a payload bay into the gap which has been left), as i don't like certain elements of the design, but in general, i am happy with what they have released so far.

It's just more choice for the consumer.

bar.
