Very good job!!!! Just a tad darker on the hair and it would be all good!!!

Btw...anyone thought of modifying a Takara Coolgirl to make a Scarlett or Baroness?

Possibly modifying this for Baroness: AlternativeCG-EX3-003.jpg

Thanks for the praise everyone. I went with the hair like that, because it really looks like it's right ooff the pages of America's Elite, especially the first issue. I think the color is better in person, it's stil bright orange, but I've never seen someone with actual red hair before. Thanks though! :)

That TCMHitchhiker Scarlett rocks. I'm not into larger scale stuff to collect or display but always appreciate other folks work. That one kicks assh.

BFB,

As fer the the your hair detail, I'd slap a nice smooth acrylic shade of red-orange on the wig so it comes together. (must agree with KamenD). I still don't have a Scarlett I'm happy with. Must get hold of the Winx!

Great job once again!

First of all, I must say that is my favorite custom ever! Man, I tried to look for the Winx figure with the hair, but I can only find it with a big playset. Did you really buy the whole playset just for the hair, or can I find just the figure somewhere? I'm also amazed that new figure parts are being used considering how hard they are to come by. I don't blame you though!

It looks like you used the desert VvV version of Scarlett for the torso and arms. What did you use to get rid of the paint so well? (I'm just trying to wrestle up the parts I need to follow your recipe.) Again, excellent job!

Any type of (non-acetone) nail polish remover.

I just learned the hard way that Equate brand non-acetone nail polish remover is not the way to go. It dissolves plastic!!

The only place I've consistenly seen them (figure 2 packs) was at Meijer. Toys-R-Us has the large playset, but the hair in those is different... it's pointy somehow, it's off. Go for the 2 packs, keep checking Target and Ebay.

Found them! Target 4.99 ...last pack of the little hookers! :D
