Bandai Godzilla Series

Hey I just got the GD-45 Mechagodzilla figure, which is my first Godzilla figure. Now I want to get a modern Godzilla figure to go with it but can't seem to find any Godzilla figures in the same 7" scale. Is there one in that scale from Bandai?

bandai has released various sizes for the godzilla toys. basically they have figures in 6", 7", and 9" size. the 6" guys are out in the stores now (various figures including many of the villians). the 7" ones were released when godzilla 2000 and ogra came out. the 9" figures were released for godzilla final wars. the 7" figures are not sold in stores and you will have to get them on ebay but they can be pricey. the 9" guys (new godzilla, gigan, mothra) are still in stores now and average around 20-25 bucks. the 6" figs are out now and can be bought for 10-15 bucks.

Thanks a lot Boff. I been looking all over online for the 7" figures and haven't been able to find any of the Big G himself in that scale just the other characters. I guess Im just gonna look around some more.

no problem, by the way forgot to mention www.clubtokyo.org. they have a great index of almost all godzilla toys and models released from the past to present. you can find the specific guys and search that way.

As for the smaller scale figures (6-7 inch) pick up the 50th Anniversary Memorial boxset. It will most likely set you back $300-400, but worth it!
