Anyone Ever Made A "man In Black"?

I ask because, quite recently, I bought the X-Files dvd boxed sets and it was the sight of all the cool SWAT/special ops guys that made me want to start a cool little Joe army... but, alas, for I can't find any Joes that just wear plain business suits. The alleged Tomax/Xamot figures in suits don't look very... I dunno. They don't look like business suits to me...

 

I'm looking to buy or create a figure that looks like CGB Spender/Cancer Man from The X-Files, or that looks anything like a Man in Black to command my little squad.

 

Any parts formulae or pointing in the right direction would be appreciated

Well if you want to get Black Ops parts, use the following:

 

Snake Eyes comic pack body(just swap heads)

Crimson Shadow Guard body(ditto)

D.E.F. Shockwave body(or any using that mold) painted black

TRU Night Force figures(newer ones)

TRU Urban Strike Team Alley Vipers

Oh I've been building up the special ops guys.

 

General formula I've been using is

 

Snake Eyes torso, thighs

Snake eyes or Firefly lower arms

Recondo upper arms and boots

Beachhead/firefly head

either snake eyes or blackout waist (depending what I have around)

 

It's just a couple of government conspirators I need now

Well, I have a Hulk Bruce Banner that I am about to tear apart for the head, and I am going to see if the limbs will work for a business suit or casual attire type figure. I'll let you know how it turns out.

No, indeed they look terrible. I mean, they're not even wearing a tie! I hate even more the fact that they tried to pass off that mold as an army dress uniform with Gen. Flagg, though.

 

Hasbro would get a lot of use out of a single dress pant/single-breasted suit torso and arms. For that matter, an army dress uniform mold would be perfect too. I'd buy any and all characters in their dress greens - finally Gung Ho could have some company on his one-man parades...

Yeah, man. I'd pay a fair amount for a figure with a decent suit mould. As you say, it could be used for a lot of different characters and attires.

I like Agent X's version of the 'men in black.' While not exactly the suited version you're talking about, they do look nice. And they're simple to make.
