Saga Collections Are Out...

Recommended Posts

I don't post around these boards too much, but I thought you guys might like to know this bit of info. The new Saga Collections figs are on the shelves. I'm pretty sure if I found them, then they're out everywhere. I live in Saskatoon, SK, Canada (try finding that one on a map...) and saw them at Zellers today. I picked up the Leia Boussh and Carbonite Solo. I'll try to put up some pics later if I can get my camera to work. Anyways, just thought I'd let yall know...

Does Canada usually get their toys way earlier than those of us here in the U.S.?

BWA-hahahahahahaha! Oh man, that's funny...

Unfortunately no, we almost never get them before the US. In fact, they usually come much, much later, and never even close to the same quantities. Army-builders wouldn't even exist here if it wasn't for the internet, I think.

Very, very rarely it does happen though. Like when we got the TRU exclusive Sideswipe (Transformer). It's usually a fluke though.

Anyway, to those who have them, what do you think? I'm a bit disappointed from the pics we've all seen, but the Leia bounty hunter and Bib Fortuna figs look alright...

Used to live in the S'toon.

Weren't any really good toy stores there while I was there for a year ( 2002-2003)--well, that's not quite accurate--one popped up in Market Mall on Preston there, a little collectible store with a interesting mix of old and new.

The TRU across the street from Midtown Plaza was pretty bland---quite a disappointment--worked right across from it in the office tower--kind of convenient.

Hope the weather ain't too cold and snowy..........
