C.o.p.s. Hq Is Back!

Recommended Posts

Well, I've been working hard behind the scenes to resurrect C.O.P.S. HQ, a site myself and AutobotC5 produced a couple of years ago, and after his webhost went belly-up, I've been dying to resurrect it. Hopefully fans of the Central Organization of Police Specialists will check it out and like what they see. I've had a lot of fun catching up with these characters and hope to bring back some good memories for you guys, too.

Spread the word, I want to make this as comprehensive as possible about a forgotten toyline!

I don't have everything up yet, and if you have something for some of the entries that are missing, please email me and let me know, I take submissions! :)

Great site hawk. Trust me when i say this toyline is not forgotten. Me and my brother are both eagerly awaiting the DVD release and we've both been frantically searching for figures for the past few years. I've been looking for any MOC figures with no luck, do you have any extra MOC your willing to part with?

Hey, guys, thanks for the nice words! I'm also really looking forward to that DVD next year...

As for forums, there is possibly something in the works, although I'm not certain as of yet. I'll want to make sure there's enough desire first...no use having forums if only 5-10 fans will be visiting it, ya know? ;) Still, though, I'd love to get a central place where COPS fans can talk about it, so it's definitely possible!

Unfortunately I do not have any MOC figs at the moment. I'm afraid I'm a rabid opener! ;) In fact, I had to enlist a friend's aid to get any sort of MOC pics for the site, and most of them are opened figures just temporarilly resealed on cut blister cards! @lol@

I'll let you know what I come across, though, for certain.

Thanks for checking out the site, everyone!

No prob hawk. It's about time a COPS site popped up. Any idea about how much the average figure goes for, and which, if any are rare or hard to come by?

Average figure cost depends on a wide range of things. Loose figs can be found VERY cheap, depending on completeness. MOC figures of the well known characters (Longarm, Highway, Big Boss, Buttons McBoomBoom, etc..) can sometimes fetch $20+ apiece. Really, though, with patience most anything in the COPS collection can be had for a reasonable price as long as you're patient.

Some of the harder things to find and more expensive items are the A.T.A.C., the Highway Interceptor, and the Air Raid helicopter. The helicopter isn't rare, really, but when it's sold, it can get somewhat pricey. I got a loose one for like $20 a few weeks ago I was happy with, but it was missing pretty much all of it's pieces. :/

For the figures, I don't know if any are really particularly rare, they all kind of come and go.
