This Soldier wave is at the $10 price point. They're blister-carded as compared to the Commando/$15 price point figures which are boxed.

 

I tell ya, I love Scuba Duke. I've always thought that repaints of the main characters should be in specific-mission gear, like Scuba, Artic, Jungle, Desert, or Space. On the old RAH line, it was as easy as switching heads. The newer stuff has no standard neck size, so it's not so easy. I have a handful of VvV Wave 6 Frostbite that I'd love to have but some other Joe heads on, but Frostbite's neck is different than all other figures.

 

We know we're going to get multiple versions of the main Joes in S6. That's the theme of the relaunch. A smaller team with some guest stars to help out for the occassional mission. I don't think we're going to get many (if any) guest stars in the first season of S6. Spirit is already pictuered in the show's opening as being a permanent member. I think S6 fans better get used to the fact that multiples of the S6 characters is going to be the norm.

 

The question is...would you rather have a mission specific redo or a total redo of each character?

 

I much prefer Scuba Duke versus Flamethrower Heavy Duty. Not because I like Duke more. I just would rather have a mission-themed figure as opposed to the same character with just a new weapon/accessory.

 

I tbink Duke will be using his Scuba gear to infiltrate many Cobra bases. He can then toss it aside and kick some butt. I like that. It makes Duke seem like a Man of Action.

Thanks for the info, I guess from here on out HASBRO is not doing the locker packaging any longer, I like this price point a lot better.
