I am so luck to buy venom today :-)

 

he is nice, but a disappointed that is his head can't move.......

Man, there's just never a perfect Venom figure made is there? There's always something that's got to go wrong when they make one. The sculpt, for this one, looks great but, if his noggin' isn't movable I'll be passing on it.

Is there a reason his head doesn't move? Is it the action feature or the sculpt, or something else I'm not thinking of?

 

Just curious if it's one of those things I can... fix, once I get my hands on him.

Sucks the head don't move...his tongue should be bendy though with it being sooo long..hehehe

Actually, from these pics, I don't like it. At all. IT reminds me of the 1st SMC Venom. Way too sloppy, I hate all that funky texturing, the eyes look lame, it has that super-out-of-control mouth, the head doesn't move, the proportions are TOO exaggerated.....yuch.

 

The box set version still rules. I especially like the version on the left's head on the boxset body.

He's isn't perfect, but really what is? I'll be getting him for sure, I passed on the Boxset and I'm happy I did....can't wait for this guy to be in stores in the states.

I still prefer the SS boxset one myself. Besides the elbow fins and painted nails, I think it's nearly perfect. This new one does look cool, but it looks more like the symbiote picked a mutated bear (ala The Prophecy) as its host instead of Eddie Brock. Plus the SS one is more old school, and I'm always up for that...

Naah, I think i'll pass on this one. It looks like it has potential, but there's too many things against it. I mean, it doesn't even have the white 'webshooters' on the top of his hands from the looks of things!

The best Venom so far IMO is the MS Ultimate Venom, but this one might replace him on my shelf if he's good enough. We'll see!

GREAT figure. It's about time. The last venom in classics was decent, but it was a six or seven year old sculpt.
