Just messin' with ya man. Seriously, these new pics are great. And I love the visor (goggles?) on Kamakura. It makes a world of difference for me. before that I wasn't sure about him. But I like him now. Tunnel-Rat is just too cool for words IMO. And isn't that Storm Shadow Ninja Bike all kinds of SWEET??

This wave looks great. Tunnel Rat actually looks a little Asian now. How cool is that?

 

I'll be picking up a couple of those Ninja BATs.

 

Kamakura looks a lot better than before. I just don't yellow on a ninja.

 

Scuba Duke actually looks pretty cool. I like that he comes with his Switchfire pistols which attach to his sled and his rifle. He looks like more than just a repaint. At least, he's got new shins and feet. Not bad.

 

Can't wait to see better pics of the second wave of Commando figures. Should be any day now.

A few of these look really great, most notably Tunnel Rat, Sea Duke and the Ninja Bat. I may even consider picking up the tunnel Rat I like it so much.

Man..I know everyone hates the negativity, but the more of these they keep coming out with, the more lame the line appears....as anything to do with G.I.Joe that is!

 

For all the complaints about proportions, and t-crotches, butt plugs and funky boots (like Flint had) and skeletal looking figures, like Baroness and Scarlett, Shipwrecks HUGE hands...and then to see THESE monstrousities with these very same "issues", but 10 times as WORSE than the 3 3/4" line was pooping out for us, yet fans are ignoring it on S6 and raving about it? Just boggles me mind.

 

It's like asking Barbie fans, to except BRATZ dolls as the NEW Barbie! Of course those that think the BRATZ dolls are kinda cool, won't care and be fine with it, but those that have collected Barbie, or loved the Barbie line for all these years, will undoubtedly be resistant to it. BRATZ on their own...just fine! As the NEW style of Barbie...maybe not such a good idea?

 

Hasbro wanting to come out with a new action figure is just fine and dandy, and action figure collectors will be excited, since it's always cool to see a NEW action figure line to check out and maybe add to the action figure collection (which probably consists of several already) but all this is (to me) is taking advantage of the popularity of ARAH and it's characters and throwing fans of the toy STYLE (of it) to the curb.

 

For action figure collectors in general...it's cool!

 

For collectors of ARAH characters...it's cool!

 

For the fans of 3 3/4" ARAH G.I.Joe...it's not so cool! Is DTC really that fair a trade off? Is it fair to have fans of every other toyline out there (those "action figure collectors") that never liked 3 3/4" Joes (but like these well enough) give me grief over NOT liking them, in the very forum of which I've made a home?

 

Maybe for now I guess?

Wow, these look great! Tunnel Rat keeps looking better and better every time I see him. Even Sea Ops Duke looks really great! I'm not completely sold on Kamakura (though I do like the character up until S6), so he'll probably be the last I get from this series. The Ninja B.A.T., though, is one I'll army build (well, at least 3 or 4 of them). Bring 'em on Hasbro, I'm looking forward to them!

When Storm Shadow snuck around the Sigma 6 base he took the liberty of making off with one of High Tech's Hovercycle. He then painted it to be a Storm Shadow Hovercycle. Looks good, I know of a Kawasaki bike that looks sortof like that.

hey those are pretty cool, duke doesn't look as bad as i originially thought, still not sure on getting him, can't wait to see the wetsuit and torpedo customs, but kamakura to me stills the show on these, the yellow doesn't really bother me, and his weapon numchucks look better than ss thanks to the chain, tr is just so so but better than duke
