Hey Wal-mart, Where Are All The Figures?

I went to Wal-mart this morning (a place a rarely go to ) and after reading posts about full cases of Vaders and pegwarmers I thought I would at the very least see those hanging around but when I got to the star wars section it was completely wiped out. There was nothing there but bare pegs and "as advertised" danglers hanging on for dear life. Is anybody else seeing this or did some uber scalper hit this wal-mart?

I didn't go to walmart looking for star wars figures, I was there to buy milk for my kid. I just happen to go to the toy section, plus I hate walmart-why would I want to go to another one?

The Walmart near my job hasn't restocked figures in at least three weeks. They are down to about 5 Vaders and 3 Pilot Obi-wans on maybe 25 pegs. Its really pathetic. Whats worse is I stop there everyday hoping that they restocked cause if they ever do, they have tons of space to put new figures out.

Yup, same thing happened to me. Went to look at the Star Wars section and it was all but cleaned out. This was puzzling so I looked around a bit and found a two sided island display with the missing figures and a lot of other Star Wars stuff. The weird thing is that the display was moved down by the entrance to the garden center and by the Halloween stuff (???). Good thing I kept looking... I found the black clone pilot for the first time. Another Wal-Mart in town had done the same thing only the display was in a more reasonable place: in the main isle and a couple rows up. At your Wal-Mart I'm sure they where there... it's just a question of where.

I know.Some Walmarts are choked with Vader and other peg warmers other barely have figures.It's not directed at anyone in particular but I get very frustrated when I read a report of people finding say 8 Tac Ops troopers and I can't find a sinlge one.

Yeah with there recent restock Vaders got added to the mix of Wookies/Nemodians and Palpatines as peg warmers

I stopped by all of the Walmarts today, and they moved what little figures they had left from their usual home to an island type display in the center of the floor.

 

Best I can figure, they will restock tomorrow for their big "Friday the 14th" sale that they have all been hyping.

The Newton, NJ wal mart just finished putting in the new Star Wars section together, and added about 4 or 5 cases of the commanders Bly and Gree waves.

The island display here had empty pegs for basic figures, about 16 pegs. I went back yesterday and they changed it to two pegs with Vader's on them. The regular section still had Vaders, Pilot Obi-Wan and Bail. OH, more Vader voice changes are everywhere again.

One of my Targets has at least 75 Nemodian Warriors, and that's IT. Not one other figure, and it's been like that since late July.

That's probably it. I was there last Sunday, and they had clones galore, which is a pretty good lure for scalpers.

The ghettoest walmart here still has the first waves, & about 5 times bigger than the other walmarts... weird...

The Wal Marts that are open are getting stock in.. They are getting stock from one of the Wal Marts that flooded and has roof damage that happened during Katrina.

So there are tons of the green clone commander wave now. No shocktroopers, Bly's or Grees..

One Target did get 2 cases with Bly and Gree BUT one person bought both cases (I found that out today while chatting with an employee after I got my coruscant 5 pack).
