Written by Warren Ellis (a favorite writer of mine) set in Snowtown, it's a 19 page comic done in 9 panel grids (most of the time) and the other 3-4 pages are excerpts from Warren himself. It's only on issue #2 right now but, I'm really liking how each issue is self contained and that anyone can jump on any time they wish. It's also only $1.99 per issue!

FELL is great. It's Ellis Noir at its best, with a touch of Ellis Strangeness thrown in, which makes for stellar reading. Every issue is also self-contained, so it's an easy book to check out on a whim.

 

So there is really no excuse to not pick up at least one issue to check out the series, unless you just don't like Ellis, and I hear that people who don't like Ellis also tip baby carriages and kick puppies. You don't want to be one of THOSE people do you?

Warren Ellis is one of my favourite writers. When i hear about Fell i snapped it up straight away.

 

Great stuff, As has been mentioned very noir. One of my favourite issues so far is the dockside body one and the interrogation issue.That nun is a bit daft.
