Dc Direct Delay And Confusion

Ok I just went on DC Direct's webpage and it seems that IC series one has been pushed back till Dec 28 instead of Oct 12. Even more interesting they have Series 2's Batman now listed with the Oct 12 date by himself with release with the Kia Asamiya Batman figures. So what is going on?

There's no surprise for DCD delaying. It's not first time. ID Batman is probably just a mistake or joke. It's silly to release ONE figure from the series2 when the others and series1 havent been released yet.

 

Buy why did they push back ID AND The Long Holloween line?

yeah but that usually doesnt get sent out till later in the afternoon. It should be out in a few hours.

Exactly..........Why would they just release IC Batman..and not the other 4 figures. Besides...I can't see DCD releasing 3 waves within a 3 week span in December. They have Elseworlds listed as 12/7.....Long Halloween & Unmasked ..12/21 & IC wave 1 listed as 12/28. Also for the past 2 years ..I believe DCD have not solicited any figures in the month of December. What indeed is up with this???

Hopefully they are redesigning wave 2 of the IdentC line. Or they're going to call it the IfiniteC line who knows.

The current in-store date is being listed as TBD (To be determined) the dates listed next to te TBD are the solicitated dates

It means they are not shipping as orginally slated being next week but a new ship date has not been determined.

The only reason I asked is because they DO have a date on the DC Direct website.

Im not sure, the email is sent out By DC and was released just this afternoon, so I would say any release date for these is tentative at this point. I'll see if I can find out anything more.

Sorry I was gone for most of the day. JayC got the same info I did and he posted it above. I'm wondering if it has to do with quality control. After the COIE Series 1 problems, I think DCD is keeping a closer eye on QC.
