I was not personally attacking you VH and I realize you where not doing that to me.

I'm glad to see that, but you do realize, that when you bemoan the presence of anti-Sigma Six posts....your pretty much addressing me indirectly, if not directly? :(

Afterall, I'm the one making the suggestion that they'll stockpile to the roof, like the Talking Dukes did, and that solicited a nasty series of banter back and forth between Interpol and myself. So if your upset about any negativeness being brought up, in your post about joining the darkside, or climbing into the closet with other S6 fans ( @smilepunch@ ) then I'm probably the source of that material, you stated you "didn't like" when jase brought up the "de javu" question.

But it's cool! I just hope you don't start getting too defensive about the toys now, because YOU'VE had a change of heart about them, and join in with the nasty talk about those that still dislike them. ;)

Believe me if you were, you would have had a lot worse reponse to it than that. @lol@ Feel free to continue the discussion. Its a free board. Its not bothering me really.

The whole notion of being a "sell-out" because of buying a Sigma 6 figure is sooooo damn stupid. STUPID. I SAID STUPID!!!

........wow,,,well, my 2 cents are as follows....growing up with the 12" joes,,,,,,,i LOVED 'em til i grew up,,,,like a jerk and let my mom sell 'em at a tag sale.........moving on....for the past few years i've enjoyed collecting the 3 3/4" guys,,,,,so changes happen......i have no plans to collect the sigma 6 joes,,,,,and hope they don't 'overshadow' the 3 3/4" joes to the extant that they're no longer made...........if they keep the "whole" joe producing world alive,,,that's cool......

I agree! Nobody has PAID anyone to go Sigma (that I know of ^_^) so that probably isn't the best way to describe Sigma fans.

I'd think maybe labeling them as "G.I.Joe insurgents" would be better?

I'm not converted, but I do like sigma six a lot. I was against it up until they started releasing 3 3/4 at dtc, then I figured I'd give it a fair chance since I could have both. Now don't get me wrong 3 3/4 will always be my favorite, but sigma six is totally awesome as well. It's like getting the mcchicken at mcdonalds or the premium select chicken sandwich. One costs more but they both taste good (to me at least, though I don't get mcdonalds every day so it's usually a treat when I get it...)

Speaking of your Joes....where do you display that K9 CORPS! figure you bought? I saw them for the first time today and they are pretty cool. Kudos to Lanard for trying something different. I bet they wish they had made them in a 8"-9" scale though.

Actually..I haven't purchased any yet.

I saw them one day at Kmart and made the post, joking about buying Sigma Six...only to show pics of the K-9 CORPS figures from another website. ^_^

In all honesty, I haven't been in a financial sitchy-ation, that would be appropriate to be spending on hobbies for quite a while now. Got the step-grandkids mother back from Cali, living with us again, and no job to help out yet, so I've taken on another mouth to feed and person to shelter, so I've had to cut out the toys for a time.

School clothes and supplies about wiped me out!

But enough of that sad story! If and when we turn the corner on the finances, and I can get caught up with what I'm behind on already..I WOULD like to grab a few of those K-9 things. They're for the 12" line and a little bulky, but like you stated..pretty cool nevertheless.

Maybe good for a LARGER scaled villain for S6 to fight against on COBRA Island? The last of Mindbenders Venom serum, accidently dumped into the guard dogs food supply..and VIOLA'!

Might as well put'em to use...if they can control them? ;)

I highly recommend avoiding the K9 CORPS figures if at all possible. I bought the big wolf looking one (Graytooth or something like that?)...

He LOOKS cool...but his joints are so loose he can't even stand. :/ His knees and arms just flop around and do nothing...I've read a few other online reviews saying the same thing. They've got potential, but just not quite good enough for me yet.

Thanks for the info, Justin! Hey any chance we'll see a Sigma 6 Diostory from you?

So I picked up a S6 Duke today at TRU. I had a gift card with $14 left on it so I figured it would be a good time to try these new guys out. I'm not going to go into a long review as there are already a ton of those.

I'll just sum it up by saying that I really like him! I still wish they were in the 6" scale but I can see myself picking up a figure on occasion. These guys need some sort of Jeep to ride around in. :D I can really see these guys as being a new Adventure Team for me.
