How About Marvel Legends: Age Of Apocalypse?

Yeah I know, I freak out at the thought of it. Anyways, tell me how this wouldn't work for us all? They could do a special 2 (or 3 or 4 or 5) set series dedicated to nothing but the AOA storyline. They did something similar a long time ago but only officially had 6 figures and would come out with one here and there every so often. Anyways, let's say Series 12 & 13 comes & goes and the "something big" that was hinted at is that series 14 & 15 will strictly be AOA figures. Who would you want to see included with this lineup?

1)Magneto

2)Apocalypse (duh)

3)Cyclops

4)Mr. Sinister (Dopest look EVER!)

5)Weapon X (like we have a choice)

6)Holocau...umm...I mean "Dark Nemesis"

7)X Man

 

Series 15:

1)Bishop

2)Gambit

3)Colossus w/ Illyana

4)Sabertooth w/ Wildchild (and it better be bigger than that piece of crap we got first time around!)

5)Rogue

6)Abyss

7)McCoy

 

There were so many characters to pick from that require attention so series 15 could be altered but the 1st set is almost a given because each of them were very significant. Thoughts?

I don't believe Cain Marko was ever known as Juggernaut during the X-Calibre mini-series. He wasn't wearing the helmet at least so his appearance as a monk would be jarring to fans who never read the After Xavier event. I still like the idea of him receiving an AoA action figure but he wouldn't make the cut for my top twenty Age of Apocalypse characters.

I'd go for it. I felt like it was one of the best storylines ever done, the art was great, the execution of it all was really awesome as were the character designs.

Toys based on this story would be perfect. All of the character designs were so different from the regular timeline that it warrants another Apocolypse, Sinister, Wolverine etc.

Definetly Cyclops, AoA cyclops is the coolest cyke. If they took the original AoA cyclops figure from the 90s and Marvel Legendized him it would be awsome

Eh, I really would have no interest in this. I would be mega pissed if they devoted entire waves to AOA. Just keep it to box sets or something.

You know....box sets would be fine. 2 sets of 5 in each set then sprinkle a charter or two every few regular ML series. But think about it though, what MAJOR characters have yet to be made before we get down to scrubs? For God's sake, SPOT is getting a figure in SMC! Off the top of my head, we still need Rogue, (Boxset is version is horrible) Psylocke (Jim Lee), White Queen, Jubilee, Kingin, Thanos, Shocker, Banshee, Sauron, Havok, Polaris, Quicksilver, SpiderWoman, Tombstone (i say he was cool) old school Beetle, JJJameson, Silver Sable, Mandarin, Falcon, Luke Cage...umm....maybe some Alpha Flight *snicker*....ok, so that's maybe 3 waves if every one of those was made. Then what? Consider that some could be tossed in the new F4 series, SMC as well as ML, probably 2 waves and that's it! Time to start getting new ideas or they can keep givin us Iron Man, Wolverine and Thing. No thanks, I'll pass!

I don't think a line of AOA characters is likely to happen, however I can see characters like Weapon X, X-Man, Blink and Holocaust all getting ML figures. X-Man, Blink and Holocaust are characters that have been popular to be involved in the real Marvel Universe. Weapon X I can see happening because eventually ToyBiz will need another Wolverine to produce.

I e-mailed after readind a rumor someplace in demaned of conformation, and in a couple of days they replied saying that they had no plans for that line, but they had a dark beast for that line once.
