Been thinking of picking up a casual collection. Are there any good sites to find spy troops and valor vs. venom 2 packs online for around retail/$7. And what is still widely availiable at retail- walmart, tru, and target?

gi joe's pretty much gone from walmarts and targets. might depend on location, but they're all gone here. toys r us still has a good amount of wave 7, and rah 6 packs, and vehicles. kb also has wave 7 and ninja battles.

SmallJoes.com still has some SpyTroops and VvV two-packs.

And Dollar General & Family Dollar stores probably still have many of the items from single-pack wave 3. It had items like repaints of the VvV Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow, Baroness, Spy Troops Tele-Viper, Sand-Viper, Nightcreeper, and non-repaints (but usually different accessories) figures Kamakura, Dusty, Ace, Stalker. You might even stumble into some stuff from the second wave (all repaints I think) like Alpine, Scarlett, Beachhead. All of these are $2 each at the above stores. One DG store had a Mission Disc wave with Snake-Eyes, Cobra Commander, & Shipwreck reissued from 2002.

Yeah, you could build quite a nice collection out of the current Smalljoes stock, although some packs are a bit pricey individually, theres almost always a decently priced "set" option available

I still see some olded stuff at out of the way Kay Bee's, but I noticed today that they have marked down the prices. I also saw that they have 4 packs now of the last wave of VvV figures.
