Have had a problem logging in about 3 weeks ago. It said that this sites (Toy News International) license had expired or something and then my modem got knackered and I had to wait for a replacement to arrive, which it did today (HURRAY!).

Got my Cyclops and Ultron on the 16 August. Really pleased with them except that Ultron could have had a better pose, as in the pic that was posted earlier.

I am including the Civil War banner template so others can make up their own

Thanks for the input guys.

Your all welcome to add me as a myspace friend ;)

I was thinking of adding the claws to the Iron Spidey but I don't think they would suit the pose?

The pose isn't very attacking is it, and that's the only time the claws would come out, what do you think?

Also I need advice on what modeling clay should be used for such a task?

I've got a spare phoenix and want to try and do a Ms.Marvel like one of the other guys did.

For mine I'd make a few changes though. 1) Chop away some of the hair and make it flatter rather than curly, 2) re-position the arms for a different pose 3) shorten the belt.

As for selling Iron Spidey, thanks for the offer but I'm going to hang onto him.

I would recommend that you have a go yourself as it was really easy.

1) get yourself a nail file and file away all of his webbing for a nice smooth flat finish.

2) paint the gold sections, painting a larger area than you actually need.

3) now the bit you need to be careful with, adding the red with the finest brush you have.

When you put it that way then yea i suppose your right it isnt really the position for the claws, (maybe i should of done iron spidey crouching on the ledge than spidey 3) but what i would of use for the claws are some twisty ties from marvel legends figures and "fatten" them out slightly with modelling clay.
