Got sandman and Ulton today (wasn't expecting them until next week!)

 

Both look fairly good i think. Paint job on Sandman is good.

Wow, I just got a major surprise. Ultron was released yesterday ... usually I get my subscription about a week after the first release date ... but Ultron and Sandman just turned up in the post this morning!!! Overnight delivery, certainly not going to complain!!

 

Still have to analyse the figurines to check that they're ok though ... from by brief look I'm not overly happy with Sandman, the painted sleeve goes down to his mid-forearm on one side but to just above the elbow at the front of the arm and then tapering to a point midway down the forearm on the back of the arm on the other side so not too impressed with the quality there ... more investigation results coming soon

 

heh, 80 pages and i just now looked at this thread. anyway these things are awesome, i'd get a subscription of they'd send to the US..and as i said this thread is 80 friggin pages so i aint reading it all, so if anybody knows a way to get them here in the US let me know

Sorry, not going to go to America. Cause of all the stupid laws and stuff over there they can't sell them there cause they're made out of lead and of course some dumba$$ will melt them down or something and then sue for millions when he/she gets lead poisioning through their own stupidity.

not too sure if you can get them shipped over through e-bay though, dunno if they'll be allowed through customs. But will cost you a lot to get the series at this stage.

I think they're releasing another series over in the US where the figures are steel or something but I might be wrong.

 

Problem with stretching Fantastic moe (though it would be nice) is space and strength, the longet the stretch the more easily breakable it'll become.

 

Will try post a sandman pic but no guarentees.

i actually did check on ebay and a few popped up, i just think the subscription idea sounded much more fun so i thought i'd just double check to see if they were available in the US or not but oh well, i suppose i can wait till some i really want come out and just ebay them. i love the Red Skull shown, shame Apocalypse and Super Skrull aren't coming out for over a year though

Hmm, interesting. They must have got some good lawyers then cause I recall when it was originally released here a bunch of people from the US wanted them but they were told they weren't gonna be released there due to legal reasons. Wonder what changed???

Probably got some iron-tight exclusion clause in the mags or something, kinda like "These figures are not intended for ... etc etc ... for display purposes only ... etc etc ... publication and distrubutor is not not responsible for injury/sickness cause by misuse of figurines etc."

HI All,

 

I have not posted for a while, it's good to see that this topic is still going strong (I'm still miffed as to why this has not been pinned though?) & I got a nice supprise in the post this morning... I got Ultron & Sandman today!

 

I must say that whilst I like Sandman I think his face is a bit mankey but still I'm well happy to see him included (as I'm a huge Spidey fan, I still want a Scorpion though!). Ultron is ok, not amazing but ok, maybe they should have not sculpted his fists onto his thighs but still he's OK.

 

Nearly time for Venom & I can not wait to get him!!!! Anyway I really do hope they will do 'Scorpion' & I hope that this will be extended further to the big 100 issues???

yeah i agree, altho u think is head and face is so camp, i dunno just sumthin about it. Im sure hes had better looks/costumes before, maby some of the newer ones. arr well.

i got ultron (y am always the last one) and really he isnt that bad. he is plain sooo what. The mag sucked but sandmans,rouges,venoms,gambit and nightcrawler are the mags i want sooo bad.
