Reason For Short-packs In Cybertron?

Just wondering if anybody actually knows why certain toys get short-packed. I just noticed that an e-mail from BBTS stated that Voyager sized Leobreaker and Mudflap were only packed one each per case. Seems that short-packing would only harm collectors and benefit speculators.

The only reason they are "shortpacked" is because Hasbro always rotates in new product so as to give older products a longer shelf life (and likely to get as much from a production run as they can).

In all reality, had Voyager cases been in lots of 6 rather than 4, Leobreaker and Mudflap would be far more plentiful

But bear in mind that these two will be shipped through Christmas, meaning there will be MORE than enough to go around, you just need a little bit of patience.

cuz hasbro thinks they wont sell that well since they arent popular characters

Yeah that makes sense, seeing as how they really haven't been on the show yet! Yeah!

Anyway..

The assortment after this should have more of those two figures in it.
