Well I pieced this fig together about a week ago and had intended to do some type of Cobra and then it hit me. It had a SB feel to it. So I went that route. I wanted the colors to be close to the original but tweaked the shades somewhat. I did a really nice multi camo that has unfortunately been hidden by the paint wash some what. But that is ok as I like my figs dirty and battle worn.

I've got that same head! i thought it looked more cobra i painted it blue and stuck it on an extra comic pack CC body!

 

as a steel brigade it looks dam fine as well good job! the camo on the legs looks awsome!

Thanks TM! I had it Cobra blue at first too. Anyway I think I may try a better pic for the front tomorrow as the back shot is better imo.

Yes the head works real well. Would also work with JvC part too imo. I have one more real cool Space Corps head I will try and use soon on something.

I looked at the original Steel Brigade figures on yojoe's archives and the legs were from mainly 82-84 figures(which were too thin in my opinion) but to see you use slightly bigger and better legs really makes this custom top notch.

Thanks man! I tried to make him more buff as I agree the SB is kinda puny compared to the later year figs.
