My Short Trip To Tru

So havent been to TRU in awhile(last time I was there the Tomax/Xamot CG packs were there, around May) So much to my surprise, there it was the Crimson Shadow Guards, along with Wave7 packs, 2packs with the variant Viper with no Cobra symbol on the chest. Unfortunately I didnt bring my money, so im gona try later today and score on the CSG and the 2 variant Vipers.

grat find i was just there and just some wave 7 figs and the other 6packs but no shadow grad.

I found a couple shadow guard packs here in madison... a lot cooler than i thought they'd be.

sounds more like a bad quality control as oposed to a variant!! @smilepunch@

 

im still on the fence about the CSG 6 pack, i dont think i'll get it but then if i see it i might?

I went to 2 local TRU's yesterday, and no Shadow Guards yet, but they did have a lot of Joe stuff, wave 7, IP 6-pack and others, plus the Hydrofoil.

 

I passed on all of it for now.

 

Spotted the new DINO VALLEY and WILD QUEST adventure sets, I've seen talked about recently, and ALMOST grabbed a set or 2 of those, but passed as well, until funds are a little more "toy friendly".

 

How 'bout them damned talking Duke figures also? Tons of'em and marked down to $16.99! @loll@ I wonder if the fella who came up with THAT idea, and demanded they make 50 million of them...still has a job with Hasbro?

 

Saw it at a Dollar General for $10....and darn near got it, but talked myself out of it, as $10 could get me a couple more CG's from DTC!

Yeah I was shocked to see so much of wave 7 including the gungho/viper packs. While on the other hand you go I go to TARGET and it does not even look like they carried GIJOE in a LONG time.

Well, the credit card I'll be putting them on to get "points" so I can fly to next years con free closes on the 3rd, so on Thursday, the 4th, I'll be hitting up the TRU's after work!
