I can't deicde on what TF to get... I allmost picked up the lil green jeep but I figure I'll wait for a better repaint... yknow its gona happen even if he changes form...

There are no more optimus's at my wallmart now though! The two there sold out! Thats a good sign! Everything seems to be moving pretty steady aside from SS...

all the TRU's and other stores I've been in have like 8 gigantic SS and 2 Prime and 2 Megs. Shouldnt it be the other way around?

Right now, Toys R Us is the only store in my area really carrying any quantity of Cybertron, so I went up there and got Landmine (cool figure), Dirt Boss (meh), and Megatron (pretty large figure, but I really still want another Prime [i had to return the one I had with an inverted shoulder joint as defective]). Also, Dremeled open the stripped-screw battery compartment of Vector Prime and finally installed the batteries. (Cut right along the side, separating the part that sticks out for the screw; the cover fits snugly even without this piece. Electronics are sparse, but great to have them operational. Why didn't this just use button cells?!)

 

However, in unrelated news, I need to get my iPod repaired or replaced; right now it's frozen on the "Do not disconnect" screen (forgot about turning the computer OFF if I don't have the disk image) after some serious disk problems in the unit and attempting several times to restore the system hardware.

does vector prime, not come with batteries?

 

I was trying to get him to make noises, but couldn't figure out how. I can't figure out with the force chip does either, doesn't seem to do anything, unless its just suppose to make noises, I dunno the toy seems pretty cheap and stupid to me compared to the rest of the cybertron figures. rubber wings and sword, cheap feeling arm and shoulder plates.

Basically, the Universal planet key needs to be pushed in until the circle part clicks under the... place the key... well, until it clicks. (This may be easier with some of the other Planet Keys, as they have a clearly defined notch.) You'll hear sort of a click, then machinery or a jet engine. In bot mode, moving his right arm up and down to a certain point makes what sounds like laser fire; with the key firmly in place, moving the arm makes more of an electrical sound.

 

As for the iPod, I did get it reset, but when powering on, it just gives me a folder icon and a support website, then powers off; at least that's something. I'll get it to our local Apple Store manzana.
