Jlu On Conan O'brien

I don't know if anyone here watches Conan O'Brien, but every so often they have a segment called "Pierre Bernard's Recliner of Rage" where a guy (Pierre) rants very calmly about a subject that is bothering him (usually "geek" related). Well, last night he discussed discovering the show Justice League Unlimited and the accompanying figures (which he buys at Target). His "rant" dealt with the difficulty in finding all of the figures (particularly the 10" ones), and the fact that many of the figures in the 4" line cannot stand on their own. It was kind of funny, and neat to see JLU mentioned on TV like that. Just wondering if anyone else caught it.

I watched that segment last night as well. I think Pierre is a genuine Justice League Unlimited fan. He was once invited to make a cameo on Stargate SG-1 after discussing the show on Conan O'Brien and the director asked whether Pierre was really an SG-1 fan and he confirmed that his enthusiasm for the TV show was real. I also got a kick out of the Farmtastic 4. :D

I saw it too, pretty funny. They replay the eps a couple of times; I believe it's on MSNBC and NBC overnight, but, I'm not sure of the schedule.

-'unlike the Superfriends, w/ the Wonder Twins, and the space monkey, Gleek, this one has classic DC characters like Batman, Green Lantern, and Wonder Woman.' (eh, probably should've used non core characters, but, oh well..)

-he talked about the 10" line and the 5"(?) line

-He said something abouth how he could only find the 10" Wonder Woman in a 2pk w/ Batman; and what would he do w/ 2 10" Batmans

I was laughing the whole time. He does the whole skit sitting back in a recliner in a really calm voice.
