Don't Take New Sculpts Outside On Hot Days

As I learned toady. Not sure why. I suspect the softer plastic heads/necks expand in heat and put stress on the torso. I had two fine VvsV vipers today who now have visible cracking from the collars down. Not just plastic stress, but actual cracks. And my Wal-Mart desert Roadblock has a bit, too. And I didn't even have the AC on inside, today, so it wasn't a huge temperature change. All it took was like 15 minutes of sun and heat.

I even compared the Vipers with my others left indoors, and my others are fine. So it wasn't something I hadn't noticed before. The figures are still useable, but damn, that sucks. @grumpy@

Exactly what I was doing.

Funny, thing I hardly ever took toys outside when I was younger, too easy to lose stuff.

Now this viper story has a sad irony.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. At least you learned a valuable lesson that you were able to share with us, so we now know the risks of taking out Joes outdoors on hot days...

Wow man, thanks for the advice, I used to bring my stuff, out but I don't want anyone to see me with my toys anymore, ahh the horror of ageing. LOL, yes I am 18!

Thanks for the info. I took mine out side and played with my kids but it was partly cloudy. I will think twice about doing that next time.

Has any one took the new Zartan that come in the Comic book Three pack out side to see if he changes colors?
