A few of the RAHSCE guys were named after Joe fans. I didn't know Brawler was one of em. Sideswipe was one of em.

wasn't it the steel brigade guys? i have heard bad things but i don't know em, but hey, i can laugh at a joke, even if it's on me! I seriously laughed after my car wreck because everyone else was panicing while iw as calm, i thought that was so ironic.

I got a chance to meet both the "real" Big Brawler and Sure Fire during the convention. Both were really nice guys and like all us fans of GIJoe. Along the same lines we have Barrel Roll and Double Blast who I met, also great guys, and big fans of Joe. The only difference between those guys and us is they've had an opportunity to be the basis for a figure / character during a time when Hasbro was hunting down old trademarks and were looking for ways to introduce new characters using classic molds.
